Is there literally any way for someone born in the west without a trust fund or rich family to not live in a state of permanent debt?
Is there literally any way for someone born in the west without a trust fund or rich family to not live in a state of...
Go off the grid and mine bitcoin for a living. That's about it.
Don't go to college unless its for CompSci/Engineering
Don't buy an expensive car
DO NOT spend a penny if the reason you are spending that penny is to attract a woman
Focus on money and money alone, then women will come to you
Don't go out drinking every weekend, smoke cigs/weed
Live with parents, save and invest into real assets, with a small percentage in crypto for some potential high rewards ( only after BTC bottoms at $4k that is)
By the time you are late 20s, you will be in a better financial position than 95% of the population
get a job paying 100k right of college, bay area doesn't count
Don't take out loans.
Pay off your credit card every month.
>Focus on money and money alone
this will make you a miserable little man
Yes, you have to find ways to acquire passive income. I own part of one small business & run 2 online businesses of my own. You have to take your profits & reinvest them in various industries. You should NEVER put all of your eggs in one basket *cough crypto*. You should strive to own part of a successful brick & mortar business while also divulging in virtual assets. I've invested some of my money into Cobalt stocks, ICO's, Bitcoin, & my safe ;). You need to be able to generate passive income from your investments. Not every investment will pan out. You shouldn't invest until you're cash flow positive. Once you have extra spending cash, start investing in various industries. Save some money, invest some money, & look for other ways to raise capital. Examples of my investments in crypto are Bitcoin & ZAN Coin. ZAN Coin is offering investor buyback options & I like their coins vision. Bitcoin is well...Bitcoin. I'm also invested in Cobalt mining stocks (electric vehicle revolution) ect. I wouldn't suggest investing in the stock market right now, because a crash seems imminent. Crypto is a gamble, but if you have extra funds It's not a bad option. This is what I WOULD do with extra funds. Invest at your own risk & weigh your risk tolerance accordingly :)
>Burgers think that the rest of the inhabitants of the west are also conditioned to think that they should have a 3 story house and luxurious cars by the age of 22, even if it means enslaving yourself through ridiculous loans, or else life isn't worth living.
Yeah but your hapa children from your mail ordered wife will be able to afford tonnes of guns to shoot up roasties.
If you're spending money to attract a woman, you will only get a woman attracted to that.
It's a shit deal, you both spend money and only get golddiggers.
Study something good at college. If you can't get it paid for then spend 3 years in the army, and the GI bill will pay you to attend college. (if you enjoy the army then heavily consider doing 20 years as an officer, the pension is great, but don't have a family while in the military) Engineering is the best degree, but don't shy away from accounting, computers, or medicine if you have the aptitude for it. (if possible make sure your army MOS counts as work experience for your degree) After that you'll want to live with a roommate for a few years. Starting salaries are usually bad, so it's good to live frugally and build up equity. It'll be hard at first, but once you stabilize, this economy isn't too bad. After you've gained some experience you should start a business, typically in your 30's. Never think of women as anything but a burden. Don't think about her as "advancing your income"; don't rely on her, or even think about what she brings to the table unless she's a millionaire. If you're going to get married and start a family then I'd heavily recommend waiting until you're about 28. At that age you're simultaneously young and mature.
The biggest problem I see with people is that they spend too much, and don't plan. Try and live a non-consumerist life. You don't need to buy a new video game every week. You don't need to see movies. You don't need to pay a lot to take women on dates. You DO need to consider your future instead of just ignoring even thinking about the subject. That's something a lot of people actually do. They don't ponder their future at all. They just go about their day and try to ignore the underlying angst about their life. But if you take the plunge and actually think about your future, your plan, then you can do marvelous things.
Yes. Don't spend money you don't have. It's easy.
Live in a country with free education, there's many in Europe, Ireland, Norway etc and with a good housing market / economy. Don't like your situation? Then get out onto the streets, protest and do something about it. 100 years ago in Ireland our teachers, poets, workers fought and died for the freedom we now enjoy.
Sure. Step 1: Live within your means. Just because you're a pussy millenial who hates boomers doesn't mean you are owed a lifetime of free shit. Cut up your credit cards and save some fucking money.
Step 2. Work hard, then when you want to quit your job like all faggots on this board, grab your asshole and work even harder. Muh wagecucking is hard... even though people 200 years ago ate bear shit to survive and fucking slept on corncob beds, I don't wanna flip a burger... it's too tough
Step 3. Leverage your savings from step 1 and step 2 above into more opportunity. Wealth requires hard work. Real wealth requires hard work and risk... and not fucking gambling on crypto... I mean real-world risk, like starting a business.
Step 4. Stop crying about it. You sound like a cunt. If you live in the west, you live in what is literally one of the easiest, softest, most coddled existences ever in human history. I don't gaf if you live in downtown Detroit, it's still a fuckload better than some war torn shithole in the middle east or a fucking dirt farm during the oregon trail.
Fuck money; you need perspective first, otherwise when you finally get money you're still going to be miserable.
This. Going off-grid actually makes you happy by forcing you to live alongside of Nature. Yeah, it’s hard work, but you will be happy. And if you are smart, you will make money eventually by building online as business / mining / trading p2p solar power / organic produce from your farm (hydroponic ?).
As a burger, unironically this... I have a co-worker that's about $100k in debt, and he's talking about getting a new truck
Like, what the fuck is wrong with people here? Does nobody care to be free from debt so you can do what you want?
Then they all ask me why I drive my old car, why I don't buy nicer clothes, why I don't get drunk at the bars every weekend, go on nicer dates, etc. just because I'm a software developer and I make good money. I'm trying to get dividends, bitches
Those countries are about as expensive to get an education in as the US, only difference is distribution. You don't pay tuition but you pay extra for housing, food, supplies, etc. and it ends up cancelling out.
Delusional. How much does a medical degree cost in the US? 200k? 300k? In Ireland it's zero.
How much do you think student accommodation and pot noodle costs?
yes user, I'm living proof. I made it. My parents didn't pay for my college, bitcoin was a nice supplement... (bought in 2013), but it's not the reason I made it. I'm now 25, debt free, and have a well paying job. You can do it user, there is hope.
>ZAN Coin
Here
how much do you get paid for your medical degree? 200k, 300k. If you work for the military or nonprofits for ten years your debt is gone.
How much do you get paid in europe? $10, 50% of that taxed and given to refugees. Better off driving for uber.
I'm a child of African immigrants that managed to get an education and high-paying job and to pay off my school debts. Quit being a little bitch.
Get back to work debt slave.
