I think it's part of the making of a police state, here people can get away with literally assaulting the police. In the USA the police are there to inspire terror and they do their job well, that's why they have no qualms regarding shooting

Pigs run into a LOT of situations seeing the size of the country.
99% of the time it goes smoothly, and the people are taken to jail with little to no serious resistance.
The 1% of time when stuff does happen the cops have to put their life above that of the person they are arresting. Evil still 99% of this 1% stuff sorts itself out with no major injuries.
But the only cases that make news are the .01% of times that people get legitimately hurt when cops arrest them.

Seeing they have fat fucks as cops it cant have much physical qualifications.
Here it is very strict qualification to be one with long training. Not to mention every shot fired whether warranted (or not) is investigated per chance it was unnecessary use of lethal force.
