Intradesting if real, probably a very unreliable source.
It would mean that your average negro is a solid 20 IQ away from ever seeing an university from the inside.
Comp Science btw.

2. Mechanical Engineering

the IQ numbers are only for US I think. Since our population is so much smaller in absolute numbers the pool of high IQ individuals is much lower and therefore the average IQ of an engineer here is probably like 115 at best.

It's real. The ETS are the people who make and administer the American SAT. They did the study which this graph gets its data from.

Im just wondering if they got a big enough sample size of each field to volunteer for an IQ test.
I would have told someone asking me to do an IQ test to fuck off - dont have time for that.

The thing about the SAT is that it essentially just measures the g factor, which IQ also does. SAT scores and IQ scores are basically equivalent tests and correlated highly. The results are normally distributed and if you have a 98th percentile score on the SAT, then it's extremely likely that you'll have an equivalent score on any IQ test. Because it has been demonstrated this way, it is therefore it's valid to derive IQ from mean SAT data when you have a large enough sample size (which they certainly do).

That makes it very interesting I have to say.

How does IQ correlate with brain age?

First of all
>I can basically choose major I want
Yeah, how does that work? That seems exceedingly unlikely.

Secondly, the 3 best paying ones are medicine, mathematics and economics. Of which: medicine requires extremely specific skills which you probably don’t possess, maths is alright but also dead af, and economics is based and you should choose that

Maths, my best friend is physics. Guess this chart confirms that he is more intelligent than me

I chose the subjects in high school that allow me to choose any bachelor here in holland

this chart doesn't as it only gives averages but the fact that you extrapolated that from that chart probably does confirm it

>mathematics
seriously? they don't get paid here

a fellow cultured man i see

huh, bizarre system

At least in the UK, mathematics is third highest, behind economics. Some sort of medicine is first.

how is that bizarre?
if you choose the corresponding subjects in high school why wouldn't you be allowed to go for that major?
how does it work in the UK

medicine is the first everywhere I guess, but the amount of work and study is not worth it imo
also I've never heard of a doctor from turkey immigrating to another country

In the final two years of school you choose like 3 things that you want to specialise in. They’re not necessarily binding but it’s generally assumed that you will go on to study one of them, and if you haven’t studied the corresponding subject before it’s improbable that you will be accepted onto the course at university.

No I agree, one of the most demanding things to study, and subsequently work in, for only marginally more than the next few highest ranked

we have three general years where everyone has the same subjects followed by three specialized years. You choose from 4 profiles: nature and science; nature and health; society and economics and; society and culture, supplemented with at least one foreign language and at least two other subjects.

you can always pick engineering and have friends outside of your major.
Engicucks dont get a gf not because there isnt any women in their classes but because they are autists

in holland the engineering studies are concentrated in two cities so friends outside of my major would have just as few female friends.

do those cities have absolutely no females in them or something lmao

you would be surprised. technical university cities really do have a severe lack of women.

try to find the two engineering cities on this map
it's the male to female ratio among young people per municipality

didnt knew that the west was more advanced in gender segregation than in turkey

okay it's not that obvious but they are Delft (170 males per female and 100.000 inhabitants of which a quarter are students) and Eindhoven (126 males per female and 250.000 inhabitants of which a tenth are students). Not great odds.
