hi,
This is me holding a pair of scissor. Below are all the knife in my possesion. The long knife is a bread knife, which I have never used. The small knife is used for everyday kitchen task when making food. Since there exist in popular culture that finnish people like small knifes(Puukko), i have some question about puukko knifes for u. I am very thankfull if u answer any of my questions.
Is it true that finnish people wear puukko everywhere?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puukko
>In Finland carrying a knife in public spaces without a permit or job related reason is prohibited
How is this related to puukko "culture" in finland?
when was this law enforced, what is your ~emotion~ towards this development?
>Because puukkos are traditionally considered to be very personal items
>In Finland, receiving a puukko as a gift is considered an honour
Are puukkos to be considered personal item?, do u have a puukko that u really like, have u received a puukko? is it a honor to receiv a puukko?
I would appreciate if u can show me a image of a puukko. One of my siblings works in the forest/logging industry he owns a Mora knife. Opinion on mora knife in comparesion to puukko? Where can one find the best puukkos? what does it mean to have a puukko knife, by u and fellow countrymen?
Where i live, it is forbiden to wear a knife if one has not a specific purpos with it. why did finnland developed a puukko culture? there used to be a knife culture, at germanic people. But it died out when most germanic people became christians ~1000 ad, i think. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seax It may be because germanic people created more concreat borders/kingdomes and the need for a weapon for the individual was less in need.
>In Scandinavia, the words sax, ... refer to scissors
This is the reason why I am holding a secisor.
how popular are Cheese knife in finland?
