fuck meaning
aesthetics >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>shit>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>meaning
what matter is that looks good, its cool when meaning adds to the desing, but none cares about the blood shed by those who gave us freedom
New Michigan Edition
Top notch
>fuck meaning
That's pretty blue pilled of you. Meaning is what makes the flag honestly. The design is important to yes, but so is the meaning. It's 50/50. The Detroit flag is full of meaning and looks cool as fuck too. Though I do agree that practically no one cares about the meaning. As much as I hate that no one cares, it's true. It should change.
imagine if anything was subjective
I don't like redheads.
Tampa's flag is based because of its meaning, not because of its design. Same as Ybor's. South Korea's flag is aesthetic as fuck, and it isn't because of its appearance but rather because of its meaning
you right meaning makes a flag good
Do you have many flags of ancient nations surviving to modern day?
I found some really nice ones. But when I look at choices made for FreeCiv for example, some are pretty arbitrary (Romans is flag of a Czech city made to look Roman...). I think it would've been better for them to go with Civ 4/5/6 style symbols and one or two main colours per nation instead.
The problem is generally most I found are in pre-French tricolour style, some symbol on an one colour banner. Which is what historical monarchies used largely.
I like more original ones used OTL, like that of Assyrians or Copts (Ancient Egyptians). They would look really well as a state flag and shame they're not used for anything else than their mostly ethno-religious group really.
Palmyrene Empire. Originally made for Civ 4 mod, I believe.
Etruscans.
