Jordan Peterson is a center right "philosopher" who is only popular because he's the only person over 40 who can speak to the under 40 crowd without disgust. He has some mishmash philosophical and advice ideas that aren't particularly profound. He rejects cultural marxism sounding like Mr Rogers rather than Jow Forums. His blandness is literally his appeal. The cleaning room thing appeals to millennial because he's actually appealing to them and willing to tell them why it's a good idea without being moralizing or demanding it.

Also he sort of looks like Bill Nye without him being what Bill Nye became.

I can do that. He is empirically wrong, does not keep track of the details of his arguments, and is, at the end of the day, a jungian.

The criticism is valid. Peterson rails against post modernism even though his line of thinking is framed along its tenants. He also clearly doesn't understand it if he accuses someone who is clearly not a post modernist of being one for political reasons.
