not really, it doesn't make the nations pay tribute to the imperial powers like the euro powers did or the US is still doing, the deals china does with African nations are much more equitable, china isn't fucking them through neo-liberal 'structural adjustments programs' through the IMF and world bank like the US did/does. China is a regional hegemon in Asia and holds much of the US' debt, the US and China are codependent at this point but the fact that china has much of its industry in part state owned makes it much better insulated against financial shocks than the US. Decolonisation was a disaster for most African nations because the European powers didn't actually care to install a self sufficient civil service/infrastructure

that's not how international markets work. If government bonds get devalued they don't send in the bailiffs, they stop buying the bonds which stops the central bank from being able to sustain the economy. Look at what happened to Greece's debt and as a result the worlds markets. The naive way you speak makes me think you don't actually have any idea of what you are talking about

Greece is a small country dependent on Germany and other euro countries. Fuck, they don't even have their own currency anymore (which one of the reasons why it has gone to shitter). USA is the top dog of the world. It would take years for all the institutions to reorient themselves to some other reserve currency, not to mention all the patents and copyright US holds.

again, if you don't know something you probably shouldn't pontificate on it, half of the reason that the world somewhat recovered from the 2008 financial crash was the chinese propping up the world economy whilst the west floundered, the international institutions that the US backs have largely been responsible for wholesale immiseration of countries at the behest of 'combating infaltion' (i.e. neoliberalism) which have overall just ended up transferring massive amounts of wealth either directly out of the country (c.f. mexico, argentina) or a massive redistribution upwards to the managerial class, chinas economic policy abroad has been somewhat less predatory than the US.

Yeah, chinks probably made a bank buying up companies and other assorted goodies when the crisis hit. But the reason why the world recovered from the crisis is because no crisis lasts forever (unless it's helped through a healthy dose of regulation) and the wheel of debt inflation has started to spin once again.
