India or Mexico?

In which one would you rather live?

sikkim, india

India

En la india de tu mama putho

Mexico I guess people know how to use the toilet.

Mexico

Depends on the region I guess.

MÉXICO

MÉXICO

India
Mexican scum

India is bad but people is nice and its safe.... Mexico in the other hand is not as thirdie as India but it's so violent...
I think I choose india

If I’m a woman I’d chose Mexico. Rape stats in India are pretty much higher than ours

Indians treat their women like shit

These are the places I don't mind living -
Mexico City
Yucatan

Sikkim
Mizoram
Tripu-you know what, anywhere in North East India.
Andhra Pradesh - assuming their new capital that is under construction is a proper smart city. It's being led by the same firm that designed Singapore and other international firms

Cons of living in India is that you are gonna come across several slums. Cons of living in Mexico is you are gonna be flayed alive if you mess with the wrong person. So depends on the person.

NE India is much poorer and more shitholish than pretty much any South Indian state.

Mexico. I have nothing against India and would love to visit, but it seems like it would be a strange place to adapt to living in. Mexico is comfy and familiar to me as a burger.

Your people can be pretty violent too.

Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan

That's not true, you can ask people on /trv/ what they think about Mexico and all of them will tell you that Mexicans are super friendly and that Mexico is great.

I thought Sikkim was the richest state in India?
It's also a power surplus state, yeah? And about to roll out universal basic income (not like this particular thing means anything to me, I'm not from Sikkim).
Plus, pic related. 3 of the NE states aren't doing that bad compared to the overall India HDI.
Have you been to any of them?

Attached: Screen Shot 2019-01-18 at 10.21.14 PM.png (547x459, 85K)

Mexico by far.

How is that even a question?

Defo Mexico. India is really too dysptopian even for our abysmal standards

I'm also interested in Buddhism and the NE seems to have that, especially Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. Tawang Monastery too.

Agreed op is just baiting for yous

>And about to roll out universal basic income
You got any salsa for that burrito, ese?

I would rather move to Chiapas than live in fucking India

India is much much better if you are upper caste. The average income of upper caste is the same as a Eastern European.

And both have R1a haplotype

Really makes you think

Attached: IMG_8515.jpg (856x835, 106K)

Because he wants to feel good about his shithole. He should compare it to Brazil instead, they're on the same level.

>India is much much better if you are upper caste.
Yeah obviously. I mean that's exactly how castes are meant to work, Satya.

Oaxaca is pretty much like india, ugly people, trash and poverty everywhere

Already been to mexico. I can make more money as a code monkey in india I bet

Attached: india2.jpg (976x962, 180K)

>you are gonna be flayed alive if you mess with the wrong person
False. Everybody here is friendly. If you're talking about narcos, they can be even your neighbors and you'll never know.

I will spend my time in India learning Sanskrit and studying the vedas. Then I will make a YouTube channel where I call out Varg for practicing a less Aryan religion than myself.

Attached: IMG_8637.png (236x283, 74K)

Mexico obviously

It's not just about HDI, it's about infrastructure and connectivity. Kerala has very high HDI but it's infra leaves a lot to be desired. NE India LOOKS comfy but you are gonna have serious problems in getting around owing to poor state of roads and general infra. If you genuinely want to live in a nice but not crowded cities then they are all to be found South of vindhyas (ex - Pune, Vizag, Mysore, Nagpur, Coimbatore etc.). Apart from that you have nice cities in Guj and Rajasthan (ex - Rajkot, Surat, Udaipur, Jodhpur etc.)

I have, coincidentally, visited both countries. In fact, I've been to India a dozen times and Mexico thrice. I've spent nearly half my adult life in South Asia. I learned to ride a motorcycle in India, have visited most of its states and have friends in almost every metro city.

Frankly, I'd rather live in India than the United States. And frankly, I'd rather live in Mexico than the United States, too. But that's coming from the perspective of an American with an income, education and the means to live overseas independently. I'd much rather have been born here than in either Mexico or India.

Pic related from the Rohtang Pass in India's Himachal Pradesh. Taken a few motorbike rides up there over the years. Recently did Spiti-Lahaul by bike; rough riding with fantastic views.

>tfw going to Guatemala in another few weeks
>tfw Honduras, Bangladesh and India again in summer
>tfw prefer un-ironically prefer the Global South

Attached: Rohtang.jpg (1334x1000, 148K)

Mexico hands down, they are friendly like to dance eat and party and they don't smell like shit and spices

>I can make more money as a code monkey in india I bet
Indians come here in hordes to be code monkeys. Why the fuck would you do the reverse?

isn't it easier to find a job there due to outsourcing? I bet it's less competitive and I can program circles around them.

Yeah Jow Forums posters are fucking pussies. The narcos are obviously a problem but they're organized criminals, not an army of werewolves. Not hard to stay out of their way if you don't live in a shit area.

Do you ttract much attention for being American in India? Are you white or brown who can kinda blend in their society?

Not true

Gorgeous pic, man. I'm envious of your adventurous life.

How would you compare the development of the NE to the cow belt? I get this feeling that when people (foreigners) talk about India, they only refer to the North and South or like don't even know it exists.
I have heard that Pune is overrated, a lot of traffic, it's getting dirty due to urbanization and all that jazz. How true is it?
Not sure if Surat, but I saw a pic of a city in Gujarat that has separate lanes for buses and other vehicles. Seemed comfy.

That pic is a sight

well then looks like Im fucked and stranded in India in this hypothetical scenario

I'm white. Foreigners do attract quite a bit of attention in India. But outside of a handful of overly-touristic cities, the attention isn't negative or difficult to deal with. In my experience, the places you'd expect the most commotion tend to be the calmest. For instance, I visited Chhattisgarh's Bastar District in 2017. Bastar, as the near-epicenter of India's Maoist insurgency, receives few international visitors.

Unlike New Delhi, where people stare foreigners despite white skin being a common sight in central part of the cities, Chhattisgarhi and Gond peoples were humble and kept to themselves while still being very hospitable. The same goes for rural areas in general, excepting Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Indians, on the whole, want foreigners to have a positive perception of their country. Some go out of the way to be rude, but they're a definite minority.

Also been to Colombia twice. Beautiful place IMHO. I love Latin America, but I think India's always gonna be my go-to.

This. If you don't buy drugs or otherwise get involved with less-than-licit activities, Latin America isn't that bad. You definitely do have to be more street-smart than in the States, though.

thx m8. Hoping to buy a motorbike in India when I go back in summer. I've to meet a few people in West Bengal and then might cross the border to Nepal.

Pic from this past summer, somewhere on the way to Kaza.

Attached: b.jpg (800x389, 93K)

india is too crowded and full of street shitters
northern mexico is turning white or at least castizo (so i've heard.)

>the only things I know about either country are Jow Forums memes

Mexico

>You definitely do have to be more street-smart than in the States, though.
What are your rules of thumb?

the moon

>UP and Bihar
I still can't believe people unironically visit cow-belt regions
And get raped and blame it on entire india
Andaman and Nicobar island's , north east regions are safer , cleaner and cheaper too
Yet no one visits them
Most westerner's just straight up go to north , north west india and assume that the rest of the india is same

NE is more developed but cow belt probably has more ameneties owing to it being more industrialized.

People often make false judgements when they look at merely pictures. Many Indian villages can look comfy given that they will be less crowded and cleaner (check Karl rocks vid of him living in a village). Yet 90 perc of the people there would prefer living in an overcrowded Mumbai slum over their own village. Pics do not say the whole story.

If I'm staying in a hotel or hostel, I typically ask the reception whether I should avoid any nearby areas. Aside from that, there isn't much beyond common sense. If you go out late at night, take an Uber or EasyTaxi back; hailing cabs from the street is typically safe, but express kidnappings aren't unheard of. I met an Australian guy who'd gotten into a private car in Medellin and wound up getting taken for all he had.

TBQH you're fine most of the time you aren't drunk as shit or on drugs.

But you do have to be cautious in certain kinds of areas. For instance, hiking trails near urban areas in Latin America can be robbery hot-spots (Pinchincha in Quito, Monserrate in Bogota, etc).

There's plenty to see in the North, especially in terms of history and architecture.

FWIW, visiting Northeast India was a logistical nightmare until recently. Most states required foreign nationals to obtain a permit for entry and then others to visit particular sites. Sikkim, for instance, still mandates that non-Indians obtain an Inner-Line Permit to enter the state and a Restricted Area Permit to visit some of its most renowned natural attractions.

You can get an ILP online nowadays, but a lot of people don't know that. Plus, most first-time visitors to India just want to smoke hash and go to Varanasi and see 'typical' Indian things like cows in the road and yogis.

Pic from Chhattisgarh.

Karl Rock is obnoxious.

Attached: ch.jpg (1600x837, 110K)

it's not even memes, it's already commonly known that India is overpopulated and their government acknowledged the street shitting problem

i'm just choosing the less shitty option

Mexico, not even a contest.

The average income of an upper caste Mexican is the same as a middle upper class Norwegian

>upper caste Mexican
What do you mean by that? Whites?

This actually wouldn't surprise me if you're being serious. Mexico, like America, has an appalling wealth inequality problem, while Norway is one of the world's most egalitarian countries. I think it's actually pretty hard to be truly rich in Norway.

It's not a street shitting problem. It's a rural shitting in the open fields problem. very few people shit in the streets. That pic that keeps being spread around, no shitting took place. It was a protest by some people towards a government office and so they decided to bare their asses on top of a paper/questionnaire thingy as a form of retaliation.
I have been to India, the North and North West. I have not seen any shitting. Where are people seeing this shit because out of morbid curiosity I'd have liked to come across it at least once.
Plus, their madman of a PM made the govt construct over 90m toilets since 2014.
Is it dirty though? Yes, a lot of litter and dust (probably because of the massive amounts of construction)

I took pic related at a beach in Visakhapatnam.

But you're right, all in all. I've been to India a dozen times and honestly cannot remember the last time I saw someone shitting outside. Most of the time I see it, it's along railroad tracks in slums or in very rural, isolated and agricultural areas.

Attached: IMG_6994.jpg (551x413, 46K)

Yeah , i forget that north east still doesn't have proper access roads to most of it's inner regions
>There's plenty to see in the North, especially in terms of history and architecture

Sure , but have you been to south india ?
Especially Kerala and tamilnadu ?
Both are known for beautiful and very old temples
South india is filled with very , very old buildings
From the oldest functioning dam in Asia to the largest elephant conservation park
South india has it all
They are also less crowded
But South india has it's problems
For example the food (it's spicy ) and weather might not be suitable for westerner's
Also south is a bit conservative and traditional in their views

India for the Food, Mexico for the memes.

Hard mode:

Would you rather have the phenotype of the average Indian or Mexican?

Attached: 1537748643376.gif (560x240, 1.66M)

That's basically true for most of Latam bro

>NE is more developed
it is not , and there is 3 NE states in top 6 btw north and north west india gives them free food and they are lazy

Attached: crimestat.jpg (767x396, 30K)

Also, sorry but Indian spicy food > Mexican spicy food.

Curry > Chile seco

Don't (you) me

wich one has the biggest dick?

>andhra Pradesh
I didn't know south india could violent
I always thought that they are non violent

Arunachal, not Andhra.

Phenotype of Mexican, at least I would be less subhuman than my curry form

Mexico of course
Brazil would be more shittier because it's tropical and it's further away from USA

Mexico’s and India’s economies are not THAT different though

Yes but not exclusively

Mexican upper class is pretty mixed but very very very few whites are poor though

>Brazil would be more shittier because it's tropical
The most populated and important part of the country is subtropical. But you're right. Tropical climate sucks.

>and its further away from the us
I dont see how thats a bad thing. The US is constantlt bullying Mexico.

what's ironic is the fact that Chile is probably the best (safest/richest) country in Latin America, along with Uruguay

Attached: 1506124538757.jpg (1387x702, 251K)

Yeah but our imports aren't as expensive as Argentina or Brazil.
An Xbox One S here is about 260 USD, while in those countries is about twice.

Mexico
while a shithole there has to be one nice spot, right?

Mexico, easily. I've never met a Latino but Indians are hideous creatures.

It depends

if lower class - Mexico
if middle class - Mexico
if upper class - India

Either. At the moment when I get a gf in one of those (or get involved into left insurgency), I'd settle there.

I would like to live in both desu. As a vegetarian, the food would suit me nicely in both places (probably slightly better in India). As somebody interested in indigenous cultures and esoteric practices, I'd be interested in learning more about the Yogic practices of India and the shamanic practices of Mexico, so I'd like to spend time with both of those groups of people. I speak competent beginner's Spanish but no Indian languages, so it would probably be easier for me to be welcomed in Mexico.

Of course, as a rich westerner I'd stay away from the shithole parts of the countries at all costs.

Mexico, but I like India too.

India. Culture. Philosophy.

Mexico desu

Mexico 100%, never been there but it can't be worse than India. The biggest shithole I have ever been. Scummy ugly people with litters everywhere, fucking smell and omg that noice.

Mexico, duh. I could just cross over to the US.

too easy

mexico

I love Mexico, so Mexico

Mexico

>people are actually choosing india

You know that in india you can get gangraped regardless of your gender if you are walking alone at night?

Im walking alone right now in one of the shittest place in Delhi does that mean Im going to get raped wtf?

Attached: 1547559515225.png (580x761, 324K)

It's merda land for me

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 156K)

mehico

Mexico
I'd rather deal with cartels than the smell of shit everyday
