I know the meme is Americans never leaving their State nevermind their country. But, there’s many old Brit’s retiring in Spain and France. They’re both host to small, sleepy, warm towns that are perfect for retiring Brits

You not wrong. The average person around here acts so terrified of leaving the country. I don't know why. Seriously...when I listen to people talk about travelling, they act like everyone is out to get them. I spent 2009-2015 in Europe where I worked full time and studied. I never have had soooooo many people telling me to "be careful" "Are you worried about blah blah..." Tbh I still feel more safe across the pond than here.

It's also where many finnish pensioners go retire. It's warm and cheap.
