Why does America have this whole culture of men being playful (goofy) and childish and the woman being responsible?
Like the concept of "man caves", video games, not knowing how to manage a house/cook, etc. It just seems so emasculating? You're literally implying that 1) you're incapable of taking care of yourself, and 2) that you're a boy more than an adult. How is that sexy?

why do swedish women love black dick
It mostly seems to be a Reddit meme made by 'men' that really shouldn't have kids.
Anyway I have two friends who live together with their gfs and both have some sort of 'mancave' in the sense that they have a hobby room with a computer and playstation.
>two friends who live together with their gfs
wtf
It's mainly an advertising technique

It's also a cheap shot used by sitcoms since they can't really make fun of femininity or niggers anymore without the Twitter brigade going nuts. Also pic related, but for promoting the emasculation of society.
>anymore
this has been a tv trope since the beginning
e.g. married with children
desu Married with Children wouldn't have been allowed to be made nowadays probably.
it features the "dumb/incapable man" theme
I see what you mean
I don't know but it's very cringe
It features stereotypical heterosexual old-fashioned man vs the new world.
Al Bundy was a man who believed in the old concept of marriage while at the same time hardly being able to provide for his failure of a family.
Isn't it more of Al being breadwinner of the household, who works shitty dead end job. If he would have family or his former glory, it's likely he would have blown his head off.
I would say it's more of gritty image of him than derogatory.
There have always been comedic dumb oafs in media and storytelling, that goes back basically as long as we have been telling stories, as they demonstrate what not to do in a negative way.
What's weird is the fact that we still have TV shows depicting the worst of masculinity as a jester-like negative archetype (stupid oaf, lazy, deadbeat dad, etc), but they rarely depict the worst women have to offer (gossiping, bitching, false accusations, alimony extortion, etc).
Not to mention how the depictions of niggers has changed over the years in media. Notice in the infamous Gillette commercial how one of the scenes depicts catcalling (or street harassment, in the new parlance). According to actual studies on the topic, the vast majority of catcalling is done by minorities, largely niggers. Check out any of those retarded feminist videos about recording their walk through the city with an eye for race, and it's basically all shitskins. But in the Gillette commercial the catcaller is a clean-cut white man (which rarely happens), and the man who intervenes to stop him is black, telling him "Not cool, not cool..." Instead of Gillette's inverted fantasy, imagine if the scene reflected reality: this loudmouthed porchmonkey is harassing some white woman as she strolls by on the street, and a white police officer walks up telling him to stop. Imagine the backlash.
>this is racist
>this is reminiscent of the false rape accusations that led to the lynch mobs
>police brutality, black lives matter
>this is white fragility
>this is imperialist/colonialist mentality
>ad infinitum...
the fact that you care this much about a casting decision proves you're racist
well it's pretty obvious to anyone that all the good men are black and all the evil ones are white in that commercial.
TV writers are mostly male and few of them can really put themselves into a woman's head or understand women's problems.
this
explain yourselves swedecucks
The best part is that me and most of the bros I know are the embodiment of that "playful" male culture, but also know how to cook well and keep our homes clean, manage our finances well, etc.
In fact it may be worth it to sandbag in this regard to avoid thots, the moment a gal learns you're a responsible man who can cook, clean, and keep your house from financial ruin, you become a target. Maybe American media isn't so cucked after all.
>a responsible man who can cook, clean, and keep your house from financial ruin
Would the woman do anything in your household, or are you just her dad?
It’s mostly dads being portrayed this way, no western country gives a shit about fathers. It’s likethey’re afraid to show dads in a positive light. Shit, the only time a father is shown positively is when it’s some step-cuck or some random guy acting as a father figure. They’re desperately trying to undermine the family unit
Al isn't a manchild and his wife isn't "the smart one"
>the moment a gal learns you're a responsible man who can cook, clean, and keep your house from financial ruin, you become a target
I'm sorry, a target? You're saying "thots" will become so aroused by your average human responsibility they throw themselves at your dick, like it's a dick target?
Must be hard to protect your virginity, m8.
Almost everyone on the planet has daddy issues.
dumb roastie, stop projecting
It’s somewhat true though, majority of people either don’t care about their father or simply dislike them. Pretty much everyone is closer to their mother. It’s just basic biology, men aren’t even built to be fathers. You’re just meant to impregnate a woman, and the job’s done. The whole concept of a man actually nurturing his kids is actually pretty modern
Also, most women are closer to their father and don't care about or dislike their mother.
Humans pair-bond and have done for a long time. We do lie somewhere in the middle between the polyamory of bonobos and pure monogamy, but it's absurd to suggest that prior to modernity, humans did not have fatherhood. Unless you're using an unconventional definition of 'modern' and I'm not understanding you correctly
>Muh Oedipus complex
>Muh Electra complex
Hey I have a 'mancave' too, it's my office because I work from home 2 days a week but I also have a SNES and our old tv there.
