One, and it's quite flat as well because I like to sleep on my side and put my arm under it (illustration only for sleeping position, not for pillow). On the odd occasion that I'm lying on my back I can still prop up the pillow under my head or fold it in half to get a little bit more support.

My bed is so narrow that there is barely enough space for me, let alone for an extra pollow. In fact i sometimes fall off the bed during night.
