Read up on Carl the Great the 30 years war and Prussia. Majority religious, politically dominated by Protestantism flowing over into liberal universalism and socialism. Catholic Church completely goes along, especially since Francis. Some families teach the kids to pray, it's a personal choice. I would also say faith in Christianity has decreased much less when compared to countries like Britain, France or especially Eastern Europe, save for Poland.

Not anything special. Horoscopes, black cats, friday the 13th. For people who are susceptible to it. But the most dominant religion is also Holocaustianity. More important than any other and sort of the official state religion.
