Because the partnership announcement was released to early by skycoin. Skycoin isn't a tight company but more of a very big an loose team with different deparments doing different things so communication isnt always the best when it comes to when to release stuff and what to say / announce.

bnb sounds a lot like NEO s GAS or SKY s Coin Hours. is it just that or does it work just the same with an alt coin?

so far BNB has a limited use but i guess from a traders point of view it s as good as any alt. using it along with SKY has some benefits if you re bagging mainly SKY, so the partnership is really a good thing

you can read on their website about the intended uses oc BNB. yes it s similar to GAS or Coin Hours, but with a bigger potential given it is presented as an alt and now has a value close to 15$
