This is my experience at least. Many people age shittily, but the opportunity to get older gracefully is there if you are good at internalizing your life and experiences as they pass by. While you are no longer at your physical peak, it's nothing compared to what you gain in mental advancement. Besides, if you treat your body decently, you can get older without physically declining all that much, or might even improve. I'm actually feeling better and in better shape at 41 than I was at 25.
