your country
are your grandparents very religious?
Your country
Religious, but not so very cause they were born in USSR.
Both atheist tb h. I think nobody in our family believes
Only on my father's side
Don't know because they are dead.
Yes, they are.
In my family, people becomes less religious as generations pass.
Grandparents pray five times every day and attend to every mawlud within 20 miles of radius.
Parents go to mosque in fridays and occasionally fast in ramadan.
I'm an atheist and have never seen my cousins praying, not even in fridays.
Yes, my grandparents were very religious. My grandmother gave a shitton of money to a certain radio broadcaster operated by an unscrupulous priest.
I myself haven't been to church in more than a decade, aside from funerals and marriages.
Brazil
Yes
Are young people in Turkey religious in general?
Not as much as older people.
Yes
religions, they attend church and all but they are very rational and accept science
My grandma is. My grandpa who is dead now not really. He did go to church regularly though, probably because of peer pressure.
Only my grandmother. The rest of the family either left the catholic church or is dead, except me and my grandmother.
My whole family is. Including ME
Yeah, grandmother and granddad are super crazy religious and always go to church and know the priests that have been there personally too in their little culchie village. parents and myself are thankfully staunch atheists however.
Grandpa on fathers side was a forced shut in by his parents. He wasnt allowed to go outside and play with other kids because his parents believed God wanted children to evolve around their parents. When he was finished with school, he left his parents and never visited them again, and is faith in God was long gone. Grandma on mothers side had an abusive father. He'd constantly yell at and hit her and her siblings, and mom tells me stories about how when he got pissed hed throw grandma and her sisters off the dock outside their house, and forced them to stay in the freezing water with clothes on until he let them get up again. Grandma has two sisters ive never met before, one killed herself and one has been stuck in a mental facility for over 60 years. Only her and her twin sister made it out sane, and eventually grew up to have kids. After all the cruelty, she believes there is no God
Yes but my parents and I aren't.
Since the last week, I have no gradndparents left, so not really.
But both grandmas were very religious (...before the Alzheimer's onset in one case and strongly anticlerical in the other) while my grandfather was openly atheist. He used to tell the local Jehova Witnesses "How could I believe in your God when I don't believe in mine?"
USA
No.
My mom attends certain services, but she is not very religious. My dad is not religious at all.
yes but they live in poland
i never met any of my grandparents.
Catholic
My grandparents on my mother side are very religious. My mother says she is, but knows absolutely nothing about Christianity beside Jesus. I cringe when she says shit like "all I need is God" when she hasn't even read a book from the Bible.
Yes, full on on turbo catholics. They hate proddies with a passion
>my way of worshiping the kike is better than yours
sure whatever
What? I said my grandparents, not me. You realize they can't see your post right?
Besides turning the other cheek and all that jazz
your grandparents are still worshipers of a kike that died on a stick. Pathetic.
are you Catholic :3?
Ok thanks for telling me
Well I'm still a member of the church but I don't believe
why do you still go to church?
christniggers
I don't. I mean oficially I'm still roman-catholic, but on paper only. Why do you care?
One my grandmothers is dead and my two grandfathers are dead. My other grandmother doesn't seem to give a shit about religion.
n-no reason
burgers are weird today
not a very informative post
>this post
My paternal grandparents were rather observant Catholics. My maternal grandparents were Jews; grandpa was very reform but grandma was a bit more observant since she came from a more Orthodox family.
US
They were when they were alive, my parents are even more zealous with their religion I moved few years ago couldn't stand it. I'm not an atheist but Christ man it was Church like 7 days a week.
They are all dead but they werent very religious
No, everyone is atheist on both side
>N Ireland
>My Mother's Mother was very religious and my Father's Father was sorta religious (also he converted religion in his 20s i think)
Father's mother was very religious and fell for some stupid cults like Jehova's Witnesses a few times. Had to be the dragged out for her own good a few times. Father's father and his later wife were religious, but also believed in ESP, alien visitors etc. Mother's parents are not religious as far as I know.
yes my grandma prays everyday and she is 92 the other one Idk
None of my grandparents are/were that religious. They do believe in God and stuff but don't go crazy over it like some old folks do.
father's side,both somewhat religious
mother's side ,grand father was an atheist or i suspect he was
grand mother was lightly religious
Fuck no they were at the Party
