I dunno man, I've lost all semblance of a structured day. I just sleep whenever I feel like it. 2 days ago I slept for 10 hours at 7 AM, stayed awake for 12 hours, went to sleep for 12 hours, stayed awake for 16 hours, slept for 6 hours, and now I'm here.

The important bit is to stay consistent. If you wake up later on the weekends, you'll throw off the pattern and always feel tired.

Most people function well with 8 hours, some need closer to 9 and others get by with 7 or less. As for the sleep itself, get sunlight/fresh air/exercise during the day, don't use electronics in bed, and keep your room as dark as possible overnight to ensure you sleep the best.

I don't know. I can't fall asleep without being awake for 20 hours first.

The blog guy ended up quitting after a fair bit, but not too long. Blog guy also had a screw loose, I think I remember reading a post where he was talking about letting his s/o fuck other guys enhanced their relationship.

I don't think it's safe for truly long term use. I'd wait until scientists actually figure out exactly what happens while we sleep (along with why we dream) before I'd make such a drastic change from what my body naturally strives for.
