The tip system is good. A lot of places would not be able to stay open and serve the quality items that they do if t weren’t for tips. If tipping were to be done away with you would have less choices, less variety, more expensive food, and less passionate people serving you.

Tip system is a broken and obsolete system.
It's supposed to incentivize good service but most people just tip out of courtesy.

Employers should be the ones paying fair wages to their employees and not having the

Anyways, what ticks me off the most is the
card readers that try to default the tip to 15%
and hide the 0% tip option. Also those random service fees that are sometimes tacked on are annoying too. They charge those and ask for a tip afterwards.

isnt extra if you dont tip and is probably similar if you do a normal tip, it is min wage work and youd have to be a very shit server or work at a dead restaurant to not get above that with tips.
