I can maintain fine accents for both American and British English as well as Polish without issue, similarly with German, people always consider me as a 'native speaker' whenever i use English or Polish.

For me the issue is not the pronunciation, but the limited vocabulary i have in Polish at the moment because of the extensive gaps in my knowledge as i have to do so much work in English. And the education for Polish was mostly sub par, almost nothing about the actual language it's self and instead focuses on poems and riddles.

Polish words are long because it's an incredibly synthetic language with tons of distinct sounds that original Latin alphabet OR CYRILLIC ALPHABET simply did not have enough letters for, so we use some combinations of letters to signify singular sounds sometimes.
