B-brexit w-will not affect us in any way

Brexit is 100% on the brits, they shot themselves in the foot and then instead of patching it up they're letting it bleed and hoping that it'll just stop, magically.

>Such as getting to pick to what the EEA does and doesn’t apply.
Well that is the essence of a trade negotiation. Europe's position was take it or leave it all along so there wasn't going to be any kind of compromise, especially with the Irish border as the article states.
>Meanwhile 75% of their parliament is dedicated to blocking anything the government comes up with anyway so talks are meaningless to begin with.
The parliament blocked May's deal because by they consider it a negation of the Brexit vote.

Read the article first.

Amazing how continentals are feeling patriotic about a trade bloc, must be the lack of sea air I reckon.

They shouldn't have "negotiated" for two whole years. That was absurd. Thankfully they're going hard Brexit

What fucking trade negotiations you brain dead mong
The idea behind the EEA is that it is equal to everyone. It is the whole foundation of the damn thing

So? They voted out so as not to be a part of it while having no say. Europe wanted it my way or the highway and now we got hard Brexit and a hard border

They want out of the EU but not out of the EEA, that’s the problem here.
They will leave the EU. That’s not up for negotiation here.

Having the upper hand during negotiations isn't exactly worth much if you end up with no deal anyway.

Only 55% (Proddies), also that number is falling. We might get a reunited Ireland soon.
