I'm a girl and one month ago my hair started falling, my hair is thick so it wasn't uncommon, but a lot has been coming out when I shower. The cause of it has been my depression and stress from class. Been thinking of ways to cope. Makes my hair fall out even more just thinking about living. Anyway, rogaine is NOT a good thing for women as it also increases the hair on other areas. Not sure about finasteride and its effect on women but you can really fuck up your hormonal balance and dick if you are a guy.

If it goes really bad, I would recommend cutting a large part of it, about a bob/shoulder length and apply olive/coconut oil.

Actually was pretty aware but I really didn’t care, rather this than being bald. That is why I want to take rogaine pills. Finasteride also has some side effects but worst part is that it sometimes does not work in women. I’m growing out my hair so I don’t want shortish hair and olive oil/coconut oil does not work in promoting hair growth, it’s not scientifically proven at least. is spot on though

I understand you want to grow out your hair, but the weight, friction, pull and lack of hair won't do your scalp well. And coconut oil doesn't make your hair grow, but will make sure the hairs you have appear very full and healthy, taking away the attention.

If you don't care about the risk of hirsutism, rogaine is a good solution but it comes with some other side affects too.

My advice? The things I've said before and maybe take some mineral supplements too, especially vitamin D might be useful considering its so cloudy here, I don't know how pale you are but it has some effect.
