>your cunt
>does it have a more aesthetic seat of government than japan?
Your cunt
what the fuck? why the fuck did that get uploaded sideways?
yes
And here's the OP image again with hopefully the right orientation this time.
yes
Sorry for the brainlet post, but why did the Kingdom of Hungary build such a huge parliament if it was an absolute monarchy? Or was it mostly for administrators and clerks to control the large realm.
Hey. I remember this when I played smt nocturne
Well yeah, easy
We were no longer an absolute monarchy by the time we started building the Parliament
But Austria was still an absolute monarchy if I remember correctly, at the time atleast so I presumed it was the same for Hungary, double monarchy and all. Or did they also transition at the time?
Austria-Hungary became a constitutional monarchy after the compromise of 1867
That honestly doesn't look very good (it's also not the seat of your government, it's the equivalent of our 10 Downing Street).
Then thats the one, but i was too lazy to searche for an inside pic
>it's the equivalent of our 10 Downing Street
Or I suppose more accurately Buckingham Palace, since our PM isn't head of state like your president.
Too much westernized
yes
>seat of your government
The government is constituted by ministres, under the Premier ministre and unites every week at the Elysée Palace. Nobody considers députés or sénateurs to be members of the government
Left is Assemblée Nationale, right is Sénat
Eh, close enough. I'm not a fan of the giant screens.
A fucking disgrace. An ugly building from the outside and the inside. A rape of the capital. To hell to whoever allowed this to happen.
Finished in 1931
no
If you think your parliament looks like a classroom, wait until you see Greenland's.
haha fucking inuits
That's cute. Do they also get daily homeworks?
why do they have fake dead gooses on the wall?
kek. But for a building in the entrance of Valletta, one would expect something more classy.
Small countries have small parliaments.
There is nothing wrong about it.
you think its special?
looks like america capital
It's not the size, user. It's the way it looks. Maybe I wasn't clear.
>looks like america capital
That's what's so good about it. Very reminiscent of 1920s America. It's beautiful.
why does japan copycats european architecture instead of being faithful to their own esthetics
japs are a bunch of cucks IMO
>their own esthetics
You mean chinese ones?
I mean japanese esthetics, you dumbass fucking retard
>Hey thats my house and i'm never leaving it
>minimalism
>Not having your government meetings set up for maximum banter
Fuck circular rooms.
everybody is a villain in that picture, bongs plotting to take over the world
Guess what? It floods with it rains.
>OOORRRRDAAAAA
looks shit
The inside of the Houses of Parliament is so fucking disappointing. I agree that face-to-face is a superior layout, but the interior decor leaves much to be desired (especially when viewed in comparison to how magnificent the outside of the building looks).
Don't care for the opinions of tasteless German insects who just want everything to be grey, utilitarian and soulless.
No, its quite minimalistic, which is weird considering soviet monumental aestethics.
Until lately, parliament was located in even shittier new style glass abomination built by Misha. Now its located in the old building
No, but Japan's looks too western
Our senate is prettier than anything posted ITT
Canada unironically has the best federal legislative building of any new world nation.
Japan is a Western country.
Our senate has a very nice aesthetic room but our house of commons looks like a conference room and only has a small flag since 2016
we wuz
looks like an arena from a conan movie, everyone gets shoved into the pit and then steel bars descend in the entrance of those doorways until only one man is left standing
It's alright. I honestly expected it to be some Ikea looking shit.
Kinda looks like a very classy restaurant to me, if the seats were ordered around tables
>I honestly expected it to be some Ikea looking shit.
You make it sound like this is your first time seeing it. Don't they ever show it on Norwegian TV in the news?
Soulless
I was inside during a school trip and it was really dirty, I hope they changed it by now
Tbh nowhere on earth they turned their parliament into live action television like in the UK.
All we get to see are some fragments from a few people making a statement followed by their party clapping.
>meiji
gay and cringe
>bolivar
gay and cringe
We have dedicated TV channel that streams the senate and assembly debates and laws votes
Idk if they show 100% of it but it is pretty lenghty
I never actually observed the room when I saw it on TV.
We have streams etc but they don’t air all these fragments of people yelling order and making overdramatic statements
Here we go. This is the EU. No culture what so ever.
Kek you're right. I wouldn't mind watching them smash chairs on each other.
What are you talking about?
I think it's quite boring, compared to some of those posted here.
My government seat is retarded
I honestly think this is the best one.
A parliament should be a place to get work done, not an art exhibition.
No, but it’s not so bad.
