On PSP, PS3, 360 or are you emulating? I played it on PSP when it came out and on PS3 when The Legacy Collection came out. I think it's way easier with a joystick, I remember having some problems to defeat Peace Walker on PSP.

Took me 55 hours complete all routes and finish the game. Felt pretty autistic doing it, but i had fun
I'm playing both games on my ps-vita. My modded ps vita can play ps1-psp-gba-gb-and vita games. Pretty comfy to be honest
