Why do you hate the English language

but I don’t

speech doesn't correspond to writing

Because it's cucking us

I don't, it's pretty close to German and very easy for me

its a defective language but we are forced to use it because america

obnoxious spelling. Don't know any language with a worse spelling system that isn't logographic except for maybe thai.
obnoxious sounds, especially british english and australian make me want to throw up.

it's primitive Grug-speak compared to French

blame french

Blame typewriters not having our unique letters and spelling for not changing since the middle ages

>being non native in the only language in the world that matters

how do all of you cope?

>Blame typewriters not having our unique letters

pretty sure the lack of your "unique" letters made the spelling change
also icelandic is doing just fine with letters that weren't used by typesetters

Honestly I think we are the one who have to cope
English is one of the easiest languages to pick up and we are doomed to be monoligual brainlets

English is based.
No article and verb gender autism of other European languages
No absence of vowels, confusing word construction and right-to-left writing of Arabic and Hebrew
No horrific agglutinations of hungarian-finnic-turkic-mongol languages
No retarded writing symbols of Japanese/Chinese

literally no reason to be multilingual if you know english

plus the amount of hilarity that comes from crusty foreigners having to speak your language is top notch

Okay, you've listed the pros. What are the cons?

its not good, but always better than french
also its easy to learn, english grammar is grug tier compared to Polish

>No article and verb gender autism of other European languages
someone tried to defend this before by telling me that genders make it easier to differentiate between things in certain sentences, despite the grammar structure of English making it easy to tell apart things regardless
Foreigners literally interject problems of their own language as criticisms for English
I agree but I'm not going to downplay the benefits of knowing multiple languages

I don't exactly hate it.
I just find it easier to express myself in my native language.
It frustrates me when I'm not capable of writing a sentence with the same ease I'd have if I used the italian language.
But it's also true that english is the language americans use, so I guess it does disgust me a little

all the cons are right there in his post

the only advantage is reddit tier "cultural enrichment" and "seeing the world in a new way". no basically nothing actually meaningful

Why would anyone hate English? 'tisa pretty fun language bruv

english is pretty ok innit
