Sure, it was known as the kingdom of Burgundy with the capital of Eindhoven.

Northern France yes, then you destroyed their culture.

>language equals culture
Most Walloons don't speak Walloon anymore, yet it would be wrong to call them Parisians.

>language equals culture
It's a huge part of it, yes.

>also called Netherlandish School, Burgundian School, Low Countries School, Flemish School, Dutch School, or Northern School
>invade and frenchify a region
>take credit for their achievements
ayo hol' up we wuz Dutch 'n shieeet

another culture almost wiped out by french cultural imperialism

Cringe post by a braindead nationalist, because the counties of Picardy, Vermandois, Boulogne and Artois were already majority French-speaking by the Renaissance. Only a small part of Artois still spoke Flemish by then, and the process of "frenchification" took place in the high middle ages and wasn't induced by any sort of invasion.
It's not a coincidence that Franco-Flemish composers like Alexander Agricola wrote their songs in Old French. It's a testament to the proximity our two cultures used to have, as both our languages were often spoken in the same counties.

Oh boy...

The Picard language was already spoken in Arras by the 13th century. You have no argument.
