If fb is going for the crypto business than I am wondering how it would work the market competition. fb has over 2mil users, introducing their coinbase would mean a possibility on putting monopol on the market, which wouldn't be the best scenario. ofc, it would depend also on their dev team and what new they can bring into the market

Totally agree with you. Having monopol on the market is not something new AND is not something that people bother too much to change hence they are still accepting coin algorithms that are enhancing centalisation... besides dev teams we will have to wait for their plan first and public reaction to it. I don't think they will risk loosing 2mil users for this, when they have so much on their plate
