I like how at first I didn't understand the lyrics but after someone on yt provided a translation I could suddenly find a cognate for every single word in Slovenian and every time I've listened to it since I've understood the lyrics without having to resort to the translation

I knew a hot chick who taught herself Polish once to make a living a translator, maybe that's the root of my obsession

can you understand this Slovenian song? Of course you can't, even I couldn't, it's in Carinthian and I had to decipher it not unlike the previous song in Polish. Still, if you ask me, this is the best of our national songbook, tho it comes unsolicited, I'm afraid
