there isn't really anything to do in America that doesn't require money. basically the attitude here is 'if you're not spending money, get the fuck out'. there are no communal areas where people meet that isn't monetized in the process, even festivals require admission fee.
then the government wonders why young people are so isolated.
this really is asinine, you know spaces cost money right? the pittance you pay for a coffee allows you to keep coming back to lounge in the shop you ignorant
David Hall
it's not like that everywhere else, sorry you are so brainwashed
Levi Foster

Austin Lewis

Parks and beaches aren't monotized in America right?
Oliver Miller
they are not, plenty of public parks and beaches everywhere
Nathan Cook
No but plenty of cities have neither
Michael Stewart
Everywhere along the right coast you have to pay $10 for a day beach pass. Of course you can go to free beaches but those are littered with trash and N*ggrs
Connor Robinson
no a lot of public spaces here. parks, beaches, etc. every neighborhood has a park. it might not be very pretty depending on where it is but its an open space with grass and benches and space for kids. a lot of spaces for teenagers to like community centers? I think you call them where they can hang out play music do sports stuff etc. funded by taxes and EU (danke germany)
Jacob Turner
what the fuck are you talking about you dumb fucking cunt
Charles Gomez
We have this thing claled "jokamiehenoikeus" ("everyman's right"). So you can access any forrest lake etc. even if it's privately owned and you are free to pick mushrooms, camp etc. there if you don't cause any damage.
Nathaniel Myers
Not really, but ironically everyone I know lives at least 30 mins away, don't have friends from the next block or something like that. And there's +10 million people living in this city.
Gabriel Nguyen
just go into a shopping mall and walk around aimlessly, have spent ages doing that catching up with friends before
Michael Murphy
>Everywhere along the right coast you have to pay $10 for a day beach pass. I have never heard of this in my life
Hunter Sanchez
What town do you live in where there is no community center, library, or park? Even the forgettable Appalachian hick town I was born in had those.
Andrew Scott
Do americans have playgrounds near their houses?
Adam Cooper
there are public parks like that in city neighborhoods with play equipment, as well as large public parks with stuff like that, most people that have kids have their own in their backyard as well
Dominic Moore
That sounds very nice
Isaac Jenkins
Was gonna come and say this. It's also known as "the right to roam". Forests and lakes are also plenty and accessible from pretty much everywhere.
Landon White
Here we have yards with playgrounds in front of pretty much every apartment block. It's basically how children socialize here.
Ethan Morales
lmao, you can just hang around in the street
Ethan Rodriguez
