I cant imagine how cringy the average chapo fan is in real life. The same white guys who went out to see black panther on release night.
Look at the size of that fucking chimp....... Must be, what, 300 pounds? Jesus man..... That thing could just rip your dick off. Hey Jamie, google chimp dicks for me

The Insight with Razib Khan and Spencer Wells is bretty good, it's about genetics and shit
I tried to listen to hardcore history and it is okay. I don't see the ridiculous praise. it seems like a history professor rambling for 4 hours about Gauls and Rome.
Tides of history is way better produced and paced, plus it comes out more than 2 times a year. I think people love hardcore history so much because he focuses on morbid details for half the fucking episode.
ALL OF THESE
>I think people love hardcore history so much because he focuses on morbid details for half the fucking episode.
probably also because joe rogan shills him at every opportunity. not that that's bad, I like the show but it does lack a steady flow of content
Freedomain Radio with Stefan Molyneux
Joe rogan is so fucking awful hes unlistenable. I cant believe i used to be into his podcast :D
the only thing I know about this guy is when he freaked out talking about being shot
>having friends who want you murdered by the state
That’s a yikes from me.
The Morning Kumite, of course
Why don't you like it?
He literally only has one opinion and that is
>drugz r kewl
He just mirrors the guest's opinions on everything else
the relentless picnic
Joe Rogan Podcast is based, but depends on whoss invited
WAN show is ok
Iberism podcast is nice
>he disagrees with me on one thing so im not gonna listen to him
ah yes, the millenial train of thought
>He just mirrors the guest's opinions on everything else
not really, he disagrees with guests at times. also, it's a long podcast, if it does seem like he's mirroring opinions he's probably just trying to keep the conversation flowing. anyways, he has cool guests that are interesting to hear from.
>tfw no qt nerd gf
millenials pretending they're better than other millenials by trying to mock millenials is pretty much the gayest shit ever
real millenials: Wow i agree in everything but you said this one thing i dont like so now i must crucify you and never speak to you again
me: normal person
>Implying mirroring your guests opinions is a bad thing
It allows the guest to fully embrace their inner loon as there's no one to challenge their opinions and statements. If anything he's just facilitating a 3 hour conversation with someone for you to get a fuller understanding of the guest.
Like #1232 - Here's someone who is an obviously biased imbecile showing how he has no self awareness of his own hypocrisy. If it wasn't for Joe getting annoyed mid conversation starting to challenge Nick it would've been even better.
Intelligent guests have self awareness and well thought out opinions, they don't lose themselves mid conversation with incoherent ramblings. The beauty of not challenging w/e the guest says is that you allow them to demonstrate their level of intelligence. If you do start to question them then they quickly understand that they need to provide facts and evidence for w/e claims they will make and then due to them knowing that they won't make idiotic statements... creating a false image of themselves of themselves instead of exposing their lunacy.
well put
----the ending is fucked up due to writing multiple paragraphs and then trying to piece it all together in a single block of text.
this is literally just "I'm not like other girls" but for chuds with no self awareness
citations needed is also solid
american politics is the peak form of entertainment
Forgotten arms
>He exposes how dumb they are by agreeing with them on everything they say
Joe Rogan adds nothing. You co.uld replace him with a cardboard cut out and nothing would change.
He's not exposing them with 4d chess moves, he just lacks the fortitude to say something that would upset someone with social capital, which is why he's fine with going after vegans, conspiracy theorists, people who don't like drugs and theists.
not really
im not like the other girls for sure
Yes!
Waiting until Americans elect him as president.

Doubt if he added nothing his podcast would ever become so popular. He has a likeable personality and he has interesting guests on his podcast.
He actually exposes himself when he goes after vegans because it's blatantly obvious to the listeners that he himself is biased when it comes to that topic.
Joe obviously isn't that smart and he knows it, oftentimes prefacing statements by acknowledging his own stupidity.
He ISN'T consciously trying to expose his guests - instead he simply allows his guests to speak without feeling the need to interrupt whenever the guest says something that he doesn't agree with starting an unnecessary stand-off that leads to nowhere and provides nothing of value to the listener.
His podcast isn't a debate platform - it's a conversation with people who he deems to be interesting enough to have on his podcast. Also you can clearly tell whenever he disagrees with his guest but doesn't want to upset his guest(usually by saying "yeah well... i don't know") BECAUSE IT WOULD OFFSET THE BALANCE OF THE CONVERSATION and make it awkward for him and the listeners(which is the main reason why it works so smoothly) and NOT BECAUSE OF HIM "LACKING THE FORTITUDE TO QUESTION HIS GUEST" as if he was scared of their authority.
If you get your feelings hurt by disagreeing with whatever the guest says and then focus your anger at Joe for not questioning what the guest said then you're a complete moron.
The main reason why I think many people have turned on Joe is because they don't enjoy him giving a platform to people of a differing political opinion and then not questioning every word they say.
>the podcast isnt a shit-flinging drama fest were he argues with the guest and hass an unflexible opinion so i dont like it
you have to go back
>hurr ur jus mad he dusnt agre wif u
Literally not my point. He flips his own opinions depending on who he's talking to, sometimes doing a complete 180.
He's not afraid of offending the guests, he's afraid of alienating any of his listeners by holding any non socially acceptable opinions.
>pic related
I mostly listen a Brazilian podcast called nerdcast, but only their old stuff, sometimes I listen to a Brazilian podcast about games called 99vidas and two others about science, called dragões de garagem and scicast
I'm not that into podcasts, just like to listen to them on my way to work and to college
I just think Dan Carlin is en exceptional storyteller.(even if he sometimes embellishes stories to make it more 'movie' like.
His 3 episodes on the punic wars are the reason i fell in love with history and the history of rome in particular. that led me to the greatest podcast of all time
>Mike duncans History of rome
75 hours from the start of the remus and romulus myth till the fall of the western empire. its should pretty much be mandatory listening for everyone browsing Jow Forums
the appeal of Hardcore history is the daddy bedtime story format
>I express my thoughts on why mirroring your guests opinions is not a bad thing (from to )
>You (assumption ) jump in saying he doesn't add anything and other things... I explain my reasons for thinking why you're wrong
>You (assumption ) answer saying he flips his points depending on whoever he's talking to... also he's afraid of alienating his listeners via holding stances on political issues.
To start with the flipping part - He's not flipping, as I explained it's not him holding the opinion...(In his own words he's "left on most issues") He simply goes along the flow of w/e the guests says which allows him to provide a smoother experience for the listener in terms of understanding where the guest is coming from and why they think the way they do... As I made it clear earlier his platform is not a debate show... He isn't there to attract people with the slogan "HEY IF YOU BELIEVE WHAT I BELIEVE THEN WATCH ME DESTROY SOME LEFTISTS EPIC STYLE" that would be the other manlet - His "approach" is of mirroring the guests views to simply explore their way of thinking and I think he's been pretty consistent with this approach over the past 100 episodes.
>Alienating his listeners
I'm pretty sure due to his personality he would have no problem attracting new listeners if the right-wing "snowflakes" left...
Also ironically isn't that what he's currently doing by not disagreeing mid conversation with his recent guests political views ?
Pretty sure him being afraid of alienating his listeners would be him giving into the pressure of the right-wing "snowflakes" being offended by him not questioning his guests - developing a more confrontational approach to his future podcasts that would appease them...
tl;dr he's not flipping - his personal views remain pretty consistently left it's just that for the sake of the podcast being enjoyable he doesn't want to get into a verbal stand-off about an argument over political issues every single time the guest says something that he doesn't agree with.
I don't know about you but I'm not looking for a 30 min debate about a specific political point made between JOE ROGAN and his guest mid podcast.
If you're dissatisfied with the current state of JRE that may be indicative of your own immaturity and lack of appreciation for the current format that Joe has chosen for his podcast.
>If you're dissatisfied with the current state of JRE that may be indicative of your own immaturity
hhhehehe you absolutely smug faggot
