I highly disagree. I simply couldnt get into TW1's combat system and I highly prefer the story of TW2 to TW3. I also made the mistake of playing TW3 on a console so it played like a stuttering mess. I still enjoyed the game but ive gone back to replay TW2 3 times now while I played TW3 for about 30 hours and got maybe like halfway through the game before getting bored. Ill probably go back to try out the DLC because the one centered around the devil looks interesting

They're fun as timewasters to half-mindedly play on the second monitor while I watch movies or something but not my favorite games

The dlc's are miles better than the base game, especially Hearts of Stone, focussed on a small area similar to 1 and 2 rather than the miles of nothing you have to slog through in TW3. And you get some cool items as rewards and not just level scaled crap. Story is interesting with twists and turns and Gaunter is just a creepy ass motherfucker, great villain.
