I remember getting "ASMR" as a child from watching demonstrations in art class so I know it's a real phenomenon (or at least, I can be reasonably sure). It felt like a pleasant shiver radiating down the longitudinal axis of your body. However, none of these videos cause me to experience it. I haven't had the experience in adulthood.

I had them as child too and wondered what that feeling was, confused me alot at the time. Then few months ago i found this based nigga by accident when i was searching for eurobeat, watched few of his videos to just to see wtf this ASMR thing is and got the tingly feeling from some of his videos.

Not sure what you mean by harsher, but depends from situation usually. I get better "tingles" if i watch videos in peace and dark, not while chugging energy drinks and staring at the lämp.
Also its been a while since i had a "natural" one, but from what i remember they feel the same.

It's not even the voice, it's that most of them aren't very creative. I like freds voice, ephemeral rift and articulate design when it comes to the guys. Gibi is nice when she does some cosplay/roleplay stuff but most of the time women make the same 5 videos along the lines of cranial nerve exams and doctor visits. I guess what I like most of all is creativity and some novelty.

Im not really sure how to explain it but ASMR from videos feel unauthentic and the "tingles" feel much more defined and prickly while natural one feel more soft
