Romanians just want a sense of belonging. The swiss make sense from a historical stand point. We however do not. Nothing make sense when it comes to my country.

OK

Not that bad, but imagine being non-hittite

cine te-a supărat user
"sense of belonging" găsești în tine, nu în alte țări
și nu generaliza, o grămadă de români se întorc după câțiva ani în străinătate

>hurr-durr ill never be a boring ass peasant
Really?

Whats the steps in being a Swiss citizen?
I have Relatives that are citizens, does that help?

Pic related its me, i do not look russian
You can move there and integrate if you have ancestry there
Corect
>yes

Its weird desu, i think it depends on how well one integrates into his community, you could live in a town/city for 50 years, unless you make friends, improve the community somehow and people like you, you wont become a citizen, ofc there s also the history tests and having to prove you re somewhat tied to the country, as in you care about it

Ewwwww a romanian ginger

Ive heard it is difficult, but it depends on the Canton. Zurich is supposedly the easiest as many foreigners live there, but outside there the people of the town/community (or city or canton? not sure) vote whether you can be a citizen or not. Ive heard of a professor living there for a long time and being devastated as he was not accepted as a citizen due to such a vote. This is all just what ive heard when i looked into it on my own, so it may not be entirely correct

I think one of my great great grandmothers was from Norway, but I suspect that is too far back to count.

If you love norway so much you should try to move there, the only reason I am not moving to switzerland(or atleast try to) is because i am in law school and my degree would be useless

retourne dans ta montagne le yodeleur lol

I guess I am in a similar situation, I am in grad school and my field is niche even in the US, Ive looked in Norway and there are very few jobs for it. I will probably visit in a few years, but I dont think I will ever become a resident or citizen

norway certainly needs some more heritage idiots like no doubt about it

>>yes
Well I'm sorry but we're full.
It's true though

t. Russian-born Swiss man

do they not have family trees in poland? why does knowing where my great great grandmother comes from make me an idiot

Poles have a lot of Jewish ancestry so they generally destroy their family trees to hide it nowadays.
