Just flunked every course i had this period. How's your day going?
Just flunked every course i had this period. How's your day going?
Same, won't be getting my student loans and am gonna be kicked out because I won't be able to pay rent
Gonna have to move back to my parents, haven't told them yet though.
It's like being in an elevator in free-fall, waiting for the crash landing
I just wasted this entire day lurking shitty websites
i moved to a new city a week ago. i work from home so i've just stayed indoors this entire week. something in the apartment is giving me allergies. i thought i could tough it out but i just caved and bought an inhaler after like 15 years of not using one.
i'm surprised at how instantly in opened my bronchias. the cashier asked me why i needed the medicine. i explained my situation. on the walk back home i realized that it was the only conversation i've had since moving.
>flunked school
>not doing anything about it
>still posting on some Mongolian lantern making forum
You’re the only one that can help yourself, no one else can help you if you’re not willing to man up and turn your life around.
I'm doing an internship and I'm bored.
Also gonna fail all my courses btw haha
i almost failed my logics course, barely passed. im going to retake the test because i dont want a low grade
Pretty sure I'm gonna get fired tomorrow
Really? I hope everything works out for you user. What are your plans for when you move back in?
I did this last semester and got kicked out of uni
What are you gonna tell them
Got blown too hard this morning and now my balls hurt
just gonna tell em what's up, it's not the first time it's happened
>It's like being in an elevator in free-fall, waiting for the crash landing
Fucking same...
Thx for the motivation booster
>I did this last semester and got kicked out of uni
Rip thankfully i wont lose any money for fucking up my education since its free lol
What degree program are you doing? ?
How did they respond last time it happened
I passed all my exams without even needing to resist, and the previous courses I didn't pass will be given me for free in Erasmus so everything goes A ok for me.
I'm so happy not to be a brainlet, that I don't even mind being non-white (according to Finnish posters).
Free or not ur wasting ur time. You do understand not many people want to hire a 30+ year old fresh out of college? Money is only the tip of the iceberg.
>Didn't attend any lectures or do any exercise during the semester
>start learning 5 days before the exam
>think that I totally fucked up
>had nightmares almost every night after the exam
>tfw got 50% of the exams back and passed all with great marks
If everything fails I'll just join the Army desu
1. Get good at something
2. Skip school
3. Go to high paying job
It's simple as that
Currently in senior high school if that makes sense (lukio in english). So no specific degree i guess. The school is like a prep school for uni that lasts 3 years. Currently on my 4th year tho...
*exams
I had 6 in 4 days
Any high paying job requires some kind of formal training, even if it's not uni. The only exception might be computer science related shit
I ma, fairly sure I finally solved a problematic strucutre (only poor resolution obtainable for this crap that crystallizes only from poisonous sludge when it feels like it, twinning, 85% completness due to fucked detector on best data) two years after I was supposed to do so.
Perhaps I don’t get fired yet.
Last time I passed an exam like this I forgot everything in like a week.
Anything that requires skill, doesn't need formal training. Computer science is great example, but it's not limited to that. The level of education for Finland for compsci is joke anyways, and I feel bad for companies that hire based on education rather than based on their experience / own projects.
>putting your life on the line for jews
lol no thks.
I already spent 4 years in the Army, and the most dangerous thing I encountered was touching a boiling coffee pot with my bare hands.
It's pretty complicated here in finland when it comes to these thing tho...
like user said people out here value your experience and personal projects far more than a degree. If your employer sees that you are skilled enough they usually hire you and pay for your education if its needed
How old are you finn bro
Turning 20 next month
I just learned a new word (flunked)
Here even normal jobs requires some kind of diploma. There's almost nothing that you can do without going to school /apprenticeship
In the states you can pretty easily do manual labor without anything, like construction or cleaning jobs. Doesn't pay much though.. at best maybe $18/hr where I live
as someone who can't afford to go to uni, I hate all of you
Last week I missed a fucking exam because I didn't paid attention to what day it was, I transferred from another Uni and don't really socialize with anyone that's taking that course, so no one warned me or anything.
I wish I could give a fuck about stuff, but I care far too little and shit like that happens periodically.
It's not "free" over there?
Isn't that much tho? I've worked at a storage for about 6 months now and i get 11.50€ an hour.
But that's the absolute best you could hope for realistically.. after several years of busting your ass
I had that once during my master year.
>fail everything
>oh well, I feel like I know it so I could easily pass everything next year
>pass everything except 1 subject
>be busy the third year on 1 subject
Might as well switch studies.
this isn't good user, cramming a few days before the exam might be a good enough tactic to get a good mark but you will forget everything after a week
And then I forgot to mention the horror that was my thesis. In my next life I'll just stick to a bachelor degree. Fuck that shit.
I think I only managed to pass one. today was the first day but i noticed that this one lecture is done by a professor i dislike so i stayed home. will change classes tomorrow
Euros need a thesis for bachelors degree? That sounds pretty for undergrad studies desu
That's not even bad. I spend 3 years studying full time but because the uni only gives out 5 year masters, after I dropped out I got zero qualification, zero abilities to transfer, and generally got the fucking shaft.
Literally me right now. I dropped out of one course and the next time I can do it is after my graduation date
For a 4 year bachelor degree you need 2 interships here during which you write some assignment.
For a 3 year bachelor + 1 year master degree you need a real thesis.
I did a 4 year bachelor, then 2 transfer years (where I had to repeated what I already knew., so I passed everything on the first try), then a master year (for which I was totally unprepared, so those 2 transfer years were totally pointless). Because our system is bureaucratic as fuck.
But 60% of the Dutch kids don't go to a high school that let's you into a bachelor or master education. Because they are too dumb. So those people are already written off.
I'm failing uni, broke, lost my only source of income, have no friend nor relative, also a kissless virgin.
Everyday is a bad day.
The worst thing is that I don't even have the balls to kill myself.
Sometimes when I cross the roads, I hope some truck driver would do me a favor and end my fucking miserable life.
I used to be like this for over a year. Protip: socialize or you'll fucking lose your mind in the long run.
Honestly it might be for the best. Make sure you get a job or some kind of vocational training right after you fail. And move on with your life. Don't sit around your house too long because you might end up a NEET before you know it.
How old are you?
actually really good, just found out OGs had released some really nice new tracks without me noticing.
I'm working on my master degree on architecture's thesis, by the end of this year I'll be a fully fledged architect
I haven't beaten an exam since last year but I'm doing fine, thanks to hoarding my student loans. Just see it as an extended vacation.
Why be architect in Spain when nobody builds things anymore?
wish I chose an expensive uni instead. Atleast the pressure of unpaid loans would have made me work hard. Now I'm failing most classes but hey atleast didn't lose much money.
I got As in all my courses last semester, and I believe the same is going to happen this semester.
>But 60% of the Dutch kids don't go to a high school that let's you into a bachelor or master education
I remember reading this in a thread a few months ago.
Your life is basically decided in your early teens.
I'm very well aware of this so I'll probably moving out.
Still, there is a very serious lack of housing is most mid to big cities where the bubble-era housing has alreaedy run out. And most of the still-empty housing from the bubble is located in towns and places where no one wants to live anyways. The cranes will rise again.
Need to write 6 job applications until tomorrow or they'll cut my welfare by 20%.
I decided to equally focus on all my classes and i failed all but 1 with a very small margin.
Never been so dissapointed
Bigup shakalle
>Skip all classes
>Begin studying 3 days before the exam
>Hate the fact that I have to waste so much of my precious time
based
>Atleast the pressure of unpaid loans would have made me work hard
lund. That doesn't happen
Wish I did diploma after 10th instead of +2 . That way I would've dropped out of bachelors without worry
Countries that offer students loans that can cover living expenses are the best.
I wish Greece was actually first world. What's the point of free uni when you can't afford to survive without working anyway.
School is essentially all I live for. It's the only thing I have going for me. I've had perfect attendance last semester and got straight As and this semester I've been working in advanced on a lot of my homework. If I fuck up school, i fuck up the rest of my life.
my parents give me money for rent and food. That's how it goes for most people here.
Yeah it's the same here but not everyone can afford it.
>cramming a few days before the exam might be a good enough tactic to get a good mark but you will forget everything after a week
It's going great actually. I just got approved to re-take a bunch of courses with studentbux. I'm a year behind now, but so what? I'll graduate in 2020 and get a sweet-ass job.
Yes. It doesn't have to be novel or original, but it needs to be an independent work.
I put zero effort into my course and only study because it got me out of my bum fuck nowhere town desu lads. The course (adult nursing program) is pretty easy that I barely have to put any effort in except on hospital placements, where you can get really unlucky with who you work with.
The academic side is trivial and seminars and lectures are a joke. I just turn up to sign the register and leave most of the time since there's absolutely nothing to learn, let alone anything worth remembering. I was under the false impression that we would be learning about how to treat patients and there would be a heavy biomedical science element but it is actually the total opposite.
Ngl, it's a mostly a miserable existence but it was well worth it since I have shit loads of free time to go climbing and piss about. It's not great but it's 100 times better than being a NEET at home and wanting to die every day. Thanks for reading my blog niggas
If you're not challenging yourself appropriately, you'll be miserable in the long run. Really, if you're constantly the smartest person in the room, you've chosen poorly the room in which you find yourself.
Oh boy are you gonna have a rough time when you dont find a job after you graduate...
3 years bachelor + thesis
2 years master + another thesis
Depends on the uni. In some cases yes
I know that feel OP. I dropped out of high school and three vocational schools, I'm in my fourth one right now and failing horribly. They've tried to kick me out a few times but I guess they're lenient with second (and third, and fourth, and fifth) chances. I haven't gone to class for at least half a year. It wouldn't even matter if I graduated though, as I have no intention of ever working.
Lel, imagine living in a country where the state pays you to study and not being able to pass.
Furthermore, in fucking sweden, where you don't have grades because it's oppressive.
Fuck off faggots
>Furthermore, in fucking sweden, where you don't have grades because it's oppressive.
Where did you hear this nonsense? The vast majority of courses will have differentiated grades. Grades are especially important in STEM.
It sounds like something else needs to be fixed before you can focus on school or work.
This is bad, user.
Last semester I barely passed one of my classes. The teacher was a son of a bitch when it came to negotiating end-of-semester accommodations for extra time, and the fucking broad at student services decided I shouldn't be advocated for. I thought about finding some way of reporting them but I don't know how. Made me obsessively angry to the point of dysfunction for a while.
> I thought about finding some way of reporting them but I don't know how. Made me obsessively angry to the point of dysfunction for a while.
Uh-oh, we've got a live one here. Somebody call CNN.
I had a friend like this once. He used benzos, speed and pretty much everything else too.
He's 20 now and has a newborn baby and no job qualification whatsoever. And he probably still uses narcotics. Should i call social services?
Fucking died good banter
I don't think there's anything to fix and even if there was it would be way too late.
Not really, I don't give a shit about it anymore. I just wish I could stop with the pretense of studying and stay inside. Better for society overall.
I have no idea how that relates to me, I've never used drugs, barely touch alcohol and I'm almost 30. But sure, the kid doesn't deserve that family.
Passed 4/6, but I need a 9 at least and just to pass the other so I can keep the scholarship (at least for this semester.)
just so you know lad, this is pretty bad.
I did heroin and passed that shit with math 9 and fyssa 10 (got just kicked out last year of metalli amis because pissed dirty)
That's what rock climbing is for. This is one of the main reasons I moved here and why the low intensity of the course is great, since that means more time and energy left for training and working on projects. Don't really care about anything else
Challenging academic work can come later when a nigga is ready, but probably won't happen since university fees are hugely inflated in the UK - around £9250/yr IIRC
Why do wh*te people like heroin so much?
lmao
it just is best drug ever, no hungouvers comedown or any negative traits (exept you get really fucking hooked and fysically dependent on it after couple months)
Halfway done with lawschool. I'm taking a break so I can delay having to get a job for as long as possible.
junkies out. I wish greek unis would do blood tests and give the boot to heroin and amphetamin users.
What makes you think you'll get a job if you're in law school? You're two breaths away from being obsolete.
Didnt assume you used drugs but you just minded me of the guy bc he dropped out of schools too lol
I finished my 1 year vocational degree after getting kicked out of academic graduate school.
Time to apply for apprenticeships, but I'm putting it off because i'm still bitter that I can't become a researcher or teacher
