I'm going to try to join the French Foreign Legion next week. I'm taking with me 100 euros. If I fail, I don't pretend to come back. How fucked am I?
I'm going to try to join the French Foreign Legion next week. I'm taking with me 100 euros. If I fail...
I hope you're in good physical shape. They have a lot of candidates and they'll take only the best.
Tu seras français par le sang versé, mon compatriote
>seven pull ups
is this some kind of a joke?
I've been preparing for this quite some time. I understand french, russian, english and portuguese.
I'm 23 years old, I live in a small rural town. I tried university twice but failed because i have no social skills and no money. I think I'm autistic.
If I fail to enter the FFL, I'm going to take a train from Marseille to Nice. If I don't find a job in Nice, I'll head to the Alps.
I can't join the brazilian army nor the police because I've been in a psychiatric hospital.
I can do 50 pull ups and run 10km.
Hopefully.
now meet up with anons!
you go user. Have an adventure and do what you always wanted to do
oh and don't forget to keep a journal
ok ok, now post timestamp with brown hand
>I'll head to the Alps
Unfortunately we're full
>I can't join the brazilian army nor the police because I've been in a psychiatric hospital.
Don't tell them that tho.
Start out of Lisbon. Donkey
they will know, eventually
Ok. I've listed some places with free wifi.
I'm not going to Switzerland. I'll build a wooden cabin in a isolated place and stay there. I hope I don't freeze my ass.
Of course not.
Why?
nice story
>I'll build a wooden cabin in a isolated place and stay there. I hope I don't freeze my ass.
you won't freeze to death because somebody will notice you and call the police
This isn't your brazilian new world jungle. The Alps have been tamed centuries ago.
The best places to hide in europe are unironically the big cities
What if I get rid of my passport? At least they won't be able to deport me, right?
You're going to get deported real quick, sorry lad.
>At least they won't be able to deport me, right?
You don't want to live in a refugee camp with Subsaharians tho I guess..
That only works for Muslims.
look this is not how to do it. The easiest way to get to europe is to apply for a student's visa
apply for something easy to get into (art history or something like that). Since tertiary education is free in most of europe you can stay for free.
Once you have the visa you start looking for work, once you have work they will not easily be able to deport you even if you stop with your studies.
This is how the Arabs do it here. No idea how it works in France, it's probably the same
look it up
Dammit, I'm really fucked.
I can't pay for that.
Why are you telling him this kind of stuff? He wanted to join the foreign legion and earn his right to stay in Europe fair and square...
probably an Arab himself
Then you're out of luck. How do you plan to even enter Europe without money. The border officers ask how much money do you have at entry. You won't be able to pay a smuggler to sneak you in, either.
the thing is he has no money
he can travel to France to apply for the Foreign Legion, but he probably can't go back to Brazil
his plan was to pass over the swiss border illegally and then hide in the alps if he doesn't get accepted man
just trying to help an autist out
>The border officers ask how much money do you have at entry
I'll be sincere. I'll show them my 100 euros and that I'll join the FFL.
I would not go to Switzerland, I would go to the Maritime Alps, close to Nice.
they let basically anyone in if they can do 4 pull ups
they do the eliminiation during the training
Thought about joining the FFL after highschool. Apparently they only take literal Chads. Read that if you have a tooth missing, chipped, or stained they don't take you. You have to be of an exact height and build. If you have a beard they won't take you. Tattoos are ok so long as they're not on your arms, legs, neck or head.
I watched a documentary about the modern Legion. It's very difficult to enter, apparently. Of the 100 candidates of the batch that the documentary followed, only like 6 made it through.
Don't be surprised that their will be a lot of South Americans there.
