In 1947 the military spotted a large object over Roswell, New Mexico. a large meteorite crashed near the city and many locals reported the incident. Also in the middle of the night in Los Angeles in 1942, an AA battery started firing out of the blue and then the entire city garrison started firing flak into the sky.
