one of my biggest regrets with college was rushing to choose a major and graduating when you're expected to.

I am studying for computer science, but I'm having trouble getting used to the lifestyle. From elementary to high school all I ever did was come home and relax. I never did homework, I never studied, I played video games and played make believe in my backyard instead. The only reason I managed to complete high school was because of an easy state program that allows you to receive a diploma equivalent. I'm still not used to studying.
Is that a yes or no? Was I the only one interested in the first place?

For me, pleasure. Life is short and generally unpleasant and painful, but we are lucky in that we live in a period of time when we are able to experience types of pleasures that would have been unimaginable to people in the past. This has to be balanced and done within reason but enjoying life as much as possible should be one's goal. We're going to "survive" for a while and then die, that's just inevitable.
I'm divided on the topic of procreation. It's getting a little too late for me anyway though, so I suppose fate and circumstance just decided that one for me.
The depressing part of this is even if we somehow manage to extend our lifespan indefinitely we're fucked anyway
You and I will still inevitably die, whether it be at 70, 120, 500, or 10000 years (and oblivion terrifies me)
Are you living your own best life? That's what I want to do. I've told myself more than 10 times that I'm finally going to pursue what I want. If I really wanted to achieve my goal I would do it, that's what I told myself, but I always end up at square 0 again. Just pure planning but no repetitive execution.

Do you have anything like ADHD? Try asking your doctor for medication for that. it helps you focus, concentrate and pay more attention as long as you put the effort in, also I'm sure theres youtube tutorials on efficient studying/note taking.
