i guess, because the skinniest i've been is 165 and i looked dangerously skinny. like i said i'm 180 now and not exactly tiny but still slim, and yet "normal" goes down to under 150 so yeah there's no way BMI is worth a shit if it says >150 at 6'3 is normal

To add on to this, I once knew a girl a while ago who was 5'8 and 114lbs and though she certainly was quite skinny, she still looked healthy and even had a decent ass to boot.

Something worth mentioning here is that, in America, our weight measurement systems, like BMI are baced in what would be normal for Europeans and Bantu Africans, our two largest racial groups, both of which are naturally heavier than east Asians who can be healthy at a lot skinnier sizes.

Combined with that is also that Americans tend to sue a lot for things like negligence, and so the university, when they found out she was in the 'very underwieght' BMI told her to 'fatten up' so that they could'nt be sued if she ever were hospitalized for anorexia or something.
