i travel to sweden often for work. quality of life in sweden is quite good, but is declining due to obvious reasons. in general the major problems are mostly that sweden is extremely boring, and that it will be quite hard to make friends if you don't speak swedish. people there seriously don't do anything but watch soccer, eat, and drink. also the weather is absolutely miserable outside of summer.

i like swedes a lot, but im not sure i'd want to live there long term. maybe 20 years ago.

Sweden is probably the best from other northern european countries. That does not matter that people in Norway earn more if they have lower purchasing power and also your country it's bigger so you have much more opportunities/workplaces.
