Some homemade pasta had to be cooked more than the store bought. But 25 minutes seems to much for any kind of pasta

how to make spaghetti:

water
wait for water to boil
add salt
add pasta (don't break it into pieces)
keep stirring so it doesn't stick
in another pot, fry some bacon, garlic and onions
add minced beef
don't forget to stir the pasta
after the beef is done frying, add tomato sauce, little bit of salt, teaspoon of sugar, teaspoon of grated parmesan and let it boil at a low temperature
stir the sauce so it doesn't burn
by now, the pasta should be good: softer than al dente, but not mushy. remove the water
add the sauce
mix
voilá

add some grated parmesan on top if you want to
