They continued to gain strength but following WW2 they were positioned to do so excellently. Any half decent leader could have maintained the success that he did and with a fraction of the bloodshed

Writing a book isn't that hard work though, everyone, who has any shard of hope that people are actually interested in their thoughts does that.
