Do you dress up and reenact like these guys?
Are sheep tight or loose? How sticky?
What me you a good Demoman?
how did you learn english so well? do all foreigners have this skill?
No, I would like to buy a Porsche soon.
No, but it looks fun. I have never worn a kilt.
Sheep are reserved for Welshmen. We prefer sea-dwellers from the paleozoic era.

What makes you different from Irish people?
Oh so nautilus and animals of the like?
can you post a vocaroo saying something? i'd like to hear your accent
Aye.
Dony ken.
Scots wre named after a group which came from Ireland but we have much more Germanic DNA from groups like the Anglos, Norwegians, Danish, Flemish, and Frisians and therefore have a more Germanic culture.
I suppose so.
Can’t everyone’s in bed.
what's your favorite sweet?
are you an Anarchist?
>uh yeah we have a more germanic culture because of our dna!
when do we tell him lads?
>Ask a Scottish boy anything.
Can I see a picture of your ass?
I don’t really like sweets.
Absolutely not.
Tell me, lad.
Let me perfect it first.
>Anglos, Norwegians, Danish, Flemish, and Frisians and therefore have a more Germanic culture.
so did Ireland it doesnt erase the culture it just meshed parts of it
Glasgow or Edinburgh?
Also, is Aberdeen worth checking out?
>it doesnt erase the culture it just meshed parts of it
pic related?
Not as significantly though. Scotland is half-Germanic/half-Celtic, I’d say.
Glasgow is good for shopping and more modern things, but Edinburgh is better for architecture, historical landmarks, and such. I don’t really care much for Aberdeen.
Do Negro Scotts actually exist? Accent and all?
the plantations in ulster were a different story but in most of Ireand the plantatioms had english farmers that ended up intermingling with the Irish
The plantations had Scottish farmers though, thus the name. What are you talking about?
the plantations in NI were much smaller so they didnt need Irish people to help work them. Instead they actively kept them out. The ones in the rest of countey were too large to be worked by just the english so they had to get irish to help them
Aberdeenfag here, it's a comfy place to live but not really worth visiting as a tourist
Yes, but there are very few and they’re concentrated in the cities.
Do you belong to any clan?
Do you live in the highlands?
your honest opinion of England
Opinion of muh heritage people?
I live in the Lowlands and I do not belong to a clan because, although my surname is Scottish, it comes from Anglos who settled around Lothian. I’m not memeing when I say we’re basically Anglos. I do have ancestors with Mc and Mac names though of course.
I like them and I wish our relationship wasn’t so strained. The British Isles, as a whole, need to work together to survive. Northern England is basically Lowland Scotland and I think we are good friends.
youtube.com
We just make jokes about it but no one really cares.
How often do you eat haggis? Is it pretty gross?
Nice.
Haven't watched Trainspotting yet but want to, how fair is it the portrayal of 90s Scotland?
What about people from the Borderlands
Once per month. No, it’s lovely and you really shouldn’t have banned it.
I have never seen the film but I imagine it’s an accurate potrayal of the Scottish underclass and the drug problems they face - particularly in the 90s. Grim, gritty and grey.
Is this stuff popular in Scotland? Or is it a meme?
What about them? They’re rural and basically an extension of England.
Seems like something only boomers eat.
It's muh heritage and I wanted to know what the area was like
Well, my surname comes from there too. It’s really pleasant and picturesque. It’s a part of Britain which is sheltered from the bad in Britain.
How far north/south would be included in the borderlands and did a lot of them move to Ulster?
This is a map of the Scottish Borders council area. And yes, many English-speaking Lowland Scots and Northern English moved to Ulster and started up plantations.
What about the region to the west of it
Do you have a needle in your arm?
I watched Limmy's Show on Netflix recently and enjoyed it. Do you know of it?
How come you idiots didn't secede when you had a chance?
More of the same.
Is the heroin stereotype that well-known?
Of course. I had an argument with Limmy’s brother when I was ten.
We didn’t want to and no one likes us.
Do you live in the countryside, how is the landscape?
what's your honest opinion on the english men?
I live in the suburbs. The Highlands are more rugged and mountainous while the Lowlands are green, rolling hills.
I like English men and women. I have no issue with them.
Is this accurate?
What does the average Scot think of a Murican tourist? I assume an annoyance?
don't go muh heritaging and muh bravehearting or muh english oppressioning and you will be fine
-scot
what are celts? what is the extent that scottish people are taught about celtish people?
why is my scottish grandparent white and why is my irish grandparent a brownish goblino
What is the least horrible traditional Scottish dish?
can't believe i'm in the land of scottish twats.
should let them have their own country, they won't last 5 minutes
>they won't last 5 minutes
Several of Britain's nuclear subs are based in Scotland, though...
Should Scotland be an independent nation?
I'm waiting
DNA doesn't decide the culture you have, is that what you're trying to say?
obviously scotbro doesn't mean that. germanic peoples settle in scotland and bring their culture with them. makes sense to me.
How does Scottish culture compare to English culture?
Freedom?
no difference unironically
if you're scottish you're allowed to be a giant asshole to everyone
there is, obviously
There really isn't.
you're telling me the English wear kilts and eat haggis? I don't mean the americanised bullshit you see in every western country nowadays
kilt wearing was invented by the english so yes
how much do you live under a rock to not know the differences between scottish and english
>you're telling me the English wear kilts and eat haggis?
Yes.
the difference in scottish culture and english is that one drinks irn bru and buckfast while the other drinks tango and white lightning
How do you know so little about us when you're only on the other side of the Channel?
Scotland's landscapes are lovely. Do you or others get out and wander in the nature ?
I don't think I'm ignorant on it, I was just hoping for a scots view on it.
But I guess I just asked the wrong question
surely scots have stereotypes for the english, just like how I have stereotypes for dutchies from other provinces
like hollanders, who tend to be more formal or dramatic like americans
Call my cynical but I don't see a big difference among all the British Isles countries. Culturally not genetically.
>Is the heroin stereotype that well-known?
When a typical burger hears "Scotland" we think of bagpipes, haggis, and smack.
Scrooge is Scottish
did scotboy leave
Why do Scots larp as Irish?
