I said "Gute Nacht niedliches Mädchen" to a girl today, and she said it sounded stupid to say it like that

Feels bad man, I just wanted to be nice :(

Ja ist ganz gut für den Anfang. Bist du Franco-Kanadier?
Finde dich sympathisch, hast du Fotos von deinen Füssen?

niedlich is more belittling than just "cute"
if you wanna say cute say süß

kys
she is right tho, but still a cunt for not appreciating it

Try "Schlaf schön, du lecker Mettchen!" next time, Mettchen love to be called lecker!

I dunno, stupid sounds a bit rude. "Funny" is more adequate when you want to say it sounds odd.

Its been uber ein month. So ich nein gut. Thankfully my grandma is german. I must sound retarded here

Dir hilf glaub ich nur Übung.
was she saying it in english or german?
if she said it sounded "doof" thats just saying it sounded funny, dont take it to heart man.

She said "blöd"

Oops, meant for And earlier she was annoyed cause I didn,t guess that "Hast du vor" meant "do you have plans" and not "have you before", thought vor was short for bevor. I need a better teacher imho.

She seems to be pretty difficult, are you sure her firm young body is worth all your efforts?

She isn't even that special. She's from near Stuttgart, maybe they're cunts in southwestern Germany I dunno. I'm moving to Bavaria soon, I hope people won't shit on me as much.

Deine mutter ist eine Fotze.
Canadians sollte storben

some german women are tremendous cunts
>bavaria
you`re in for trouble

>I hope people won't shit on me as much.
Why would they?

Am ok with almost everything except grammar, I suck at it

Why? I know there's the accent and I don't know anything about Bayerish, I know that Madl means girl and Kindl means kid or something.

Lol wow.

you are forgetting Linguee. it's earning me my degree

Oddly enough youre actually educating me. Thanks user. I now know how to say cunt in Deutsche

because you are way too nice for bavaria.

I guess I'll take that as a compliment. I'm really just going to München cause it's one of the only cities in Germany I know and I feel like Berlin is a shithole and Hamburg has the Reeperbahn which probably attracts lots of extreme degenerates, Frankfurt seems to be Germany's Toronto a.k.a big but just about finance and shit and boring as fuck as a result, the other cities I ain't very familiar with. I just want to work as a touristic guide for French/English speaking tourists tbqh.

Lol i kno its baddd

You will learn faster by hearing the language. Watch german tv with english subs, when good enough switch to german subs.

Berlin is a shithole but also very interesting and cool
Also you won't have trouble with the dialect in München, only in rural areas dialects can be strong

Is fotze like "fot'tsseh"

Not him but what would you suggest? I've watched Unsere Mütter, Unsere Väter (or the opposite lol I can't remember) and it was very good and I think I learned some nice things, I also watched this movie called Tschick which I found very nice, but otherwise not much. I'd like to listen to German music but I tend to only listen to girls and apparently girls who sing in German are extremely fucking rare, there's like.. Namika and Lea I guess that I know.

Just type the words into dict.cc and you can listen to them

Not him but German TV is awful

Germany golden age of film was in the 20's/30's so watch these if you're into that kind of thing, especially early Heimat films like pre-propaganda Riefenstahl. Occasionally they still make decent films though, pic related was nice if you liked the dude from Unsere Mütter

studieren "!=" to study
studieren = Universität besuchen
lernen = to learn
to study = lernen / untersuchen / beobachten / analysieren

Unless you've studied German at your uni, then you can say dass du deutsch studiert hast
Autismus

>Lola rennt
Ein Klassiker

_d_eutsch gel_e_rnt

Since he doesn't seem to deliver any more
For the meaning of "ja" in this context, see here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modal_particle#German

Falsch

Autocorrect, mann
