Gonna take a day off to watch all the news showing british suffering on that day, it will be great
>Only fifty days
That is if they don't ask for an extension. I think to have heard they ruled out this possibility though, as the absolute madmen they are, so it's gonna be fun.
What about all the polacks currently in the UK, are they going to return to the motherland?
To be fair, those of us who don't have family members there don't care. The people who emigrated betwen 2004 and 2007 are lost to us.
epic
You fucking did it. And this time without turning the world again you. Opa would be proud!
Cringe. We are losing one of our biggest economies, yet people are laughing thinking the UK is the only one to suffer.
The rest of the world is moving forward while Europe stays being petty and childish towards each other.
have you guys assembled your humanitarian aid package for britbongs already?
And what the hell can we do about it? It's Britain's own doing from the beginning to the end.
We can either cry or at least enjoy it for the entertainment value.
>while Europe stays being petty and childish towards each other
this is what happens when you create an artificial union with people of different races, religiones, cultures, mindsets, traditions, etc that have been hating each other for centuries
Adressed the corrupt elitist boomers in Bruxelles and the flaws of the EU before the UK even got to the point of voting leave. We are doomed to repeat the mistake again once the hysteria dies down again
That's literally what India is and they haven't had a civil war yet.
I still dont get why they decided to leave. they had only the benefits of the EU ( eg single marlet) and almost no downside ( euro currency)
>Cringe. We are losing one of our biggest economies,
Every single one of the EU member countries and their respective leaders have told on and on again that they did not desire to see the UK leave. They have pleaded against it countless times, they even still have made clear they would be absolutely thrilled to cancel & reverse Brexit.
What fucking more could you want from them ?
Britain had been enjoying for decades now the most comfortable level of exceptions within the EU, they had bent a great number of rules to retain their snowflake status while still having a seat and a say at the high table, and yet they still voted to Leave. The only thing to do was to accept the vote for the EU and start negotiating, but then, British interior politics were in such turmoil they spent a year and a half out of the two years they had expecting the EU to crack instead of hammering out a deal from the get-go.
No one is happy about the current situation, and the EU will suffer from it, however, the blame deflecting towards the EU makes me fucking mad : this is a mess of Britain's doing, alone, and they should own it up.
The EU is the most based idea of the post WWII world, Alejandro.
The (largely mythical) corruption was completely irrelevant to the Brexit referendum. The British political class for years used the EU as a convenient scapegoat for their own fuckups and unpopular policies.
You know what the main reason for the Brexit vote really was? Immigration. Which is one thing the EU has actually no say about, since it's entirely reserved to each member states.
Im waiting for the moment when IRA will start wrecking UK
Are you buttblasted that you may have to get a visa to clan our toilets?
But President Juncker said that, economically, we don't need the EU. Do you know more about economics than your own President? Maybe you should be President!
the only president is based polack Donald, king of the Eu
Absolutely b&r post, this na zdrowie poster gets it : the political class (and in other countries too) had been blaming the EU, a very convenient scapegoat that literally cannot fight back and defend itself and whose reality is too complex to be properly grasped if not explained to the average citizen, for any really or imagine fuck ups happened. Decades of doing this have just proved fruitful when the referendum came around.
The same fucking thing is true in france, both the far right AND the far left love blaming the evil EU for any and all bullshit, because in politics, it's easir to unit people against culprits than to find solutions. you don't want to offer solutions, you want to be offered power, and voted into office because the others are voted out. That's why you find several political boogeymen such as immigrants, EU officials or "the system" (whatever the fuck that is depending on the person who says it) and you rally people to your anger rather than to your reasoning.
mark my words: nothing will happen
>President Juncker
UK always in form. Pompous, patronizing and knowing shit.
They will cancel article 50 at the last moment?
>being tricked by juncker's drunk babbling
you are so naive
Juncker at least leaves a lasting and positive legacy in the form of the EU-Japan free trade agreement.
I don't mean to intrude, but that Spanish poster probably won't acre about facts, his mind is already made up and he's bent on hating the EU.
Many (probably most) of the rednecks who voted Brexit did it as a show of force out of spite. Their point was not finding the best solution for the UK's future, but making those cosmopolitan yuppies in London and Brussels seethe. Who voted for Brexit? The farmers, the blue collar workers, the people showing up in bad statistics whose main ambition in life is having a nice pint at the corner pub after the local footie team has won a game. Their vote was a warning to snobby bourgeois polyglots in suits who love to make fun of them, of their basic struggles, of their lack of education/knowledge. Politicians tend to overestimate their own charisma and underestimate the people's spite. Brexiters voted out of spite.
That's mostly true, but a terrible decision made for understandable reasons still remains a terrible decision.
That being said, with the current state of my country, I know perfectly well we are not above doing stupid self destructive things either.
Huh? Google exists y'know there has been multiple uprisings caused by ethnic/cultural/religious differences in India. The real reason india exists is their common unifier - their hate for pakistan, that and their huge army to supress insurrections.
>The farmers, the blue collar workers, the people showing up in bad statistics
Ironically, people who will be the most fucked by Brexit. Just like Brexit is projected to hit hardesy Northern England. The recent decision by Nissan to pull out the production of newest models from their factory in Sunderland is just a taste of things to come.
You would normally expect people to vote according to their interests. Just like farmers here in Poland are pro-EU despite their rural conservatism. But now, the Brits voted for Brexit, which is equivalent to turkeys voting for Christmas.
i think they just hate anything not british and especially "eastern" europeans
>I know perfectly well we are not above doing stupid self destructive things either.
You are. Your political class doesn't even entertain the idea, out of fear of what may come out of it.
In Britain politicians were kicking the EU on daily basis and openly toying the idea of getting out of it.
>"great" shitain
yes it's really habbening this time, just like the five other times
>Gonna take a day off
God dam rapefugees ruining germany.
Man, I wish we were, but the sad truth is that it's increasingly likely a far-something candidate will be elected next presidential elections we have, and they are actively toying with that idea.
>You would normally expect people to vote according to their interests
I don't. Not after witnessing so many elections where people have voted for the worst option for them, but coincidentally the option that made rich pundits lose a grip. Like M. Ames wrote here, referring to the American case with Bush:
exiledonline.com
> At the other end of the economic spectrum, non-millionaires who vote Republican know all-too-well that the country is not theirs. They are mere wage-slave fodder, so their only hope is to vote for someone who makes the very happiest people’s lives a little less happy. If I’m an obese 40-something white male living in Ohio or Nevada, locked into a permanent struggle with foreclosure, child support payments and diabetes, then I’m going to vote for the guy who delivers a big greasy portion of misery to the Sarandon-Robbins dining room table, then brags about it on FoxNews. Even if it means hurting myself in the process.
t. bfmtv
bump
I hope we leave soon too, fuck the EU
Nos moririamos de hambre si hicieramos eso
Brexit is BADD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i hope you leave your basement soon
Go back to Mongolia
Jesus Christ I hate Europeans who act like total drama quee(r/n)s and spout shit like this. YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL.
One of the more informed Euro posts I've seen about Brexit. Living standards for the poor/average in the UK have shrunk for the past 10-15 years, traditionally skilled jobs have been lost to deindustrialisation and left formerly well-paid skilled workers doing lesser paid, unskilled and insecure jobs in the service sector or distribution. More people are underemployed in part time jobs that they don't want. And whilst people have been seeing their living standards drop, they've also seen their towns/cities infested with 3rd worlders who are brought under the premise of increasing "growth and prosperity". Politicians are completely in denial, only looking at stats that show record low unemployment and GDP increasing (largely due to non-British population growth or bubbles). Euros will be thinking none of this has much to do with the EU, or it's the same/worse in my country and we didn't take it out on the EU. The problem now is British people don't really believe anything their politicians say, because they've been so wrong about the reality of life for British people for the last few decades. They unironically think growth in the UK has been good, that the UK has recovered well from the financial crash, immigration and globalisation has been beneficial, deindustrialisation and a centralised economy around London has been beneficial. All these things that really have been bad for many people are praised by most British politicians in both big parties. The 2 parties that are dominant in a 2 party system. So now there's a lot of people who will vote almost actively against what politicians tell them. And when both parties united to oppose Brexit, politicians who have ruled for decades coming together to support the EU, argue for globalisation and immigration were like a red rag to a bull and plenty of people voted Leave to spite them or just because it seems that what mainstream politicians say will be disastrous, might actually benefit them.
Fuck you
go back to the desert
Excellent post
Here's a cold xxxx and a smoke for you lad
>whose main ambition in life is having a nice pint at the corner pub after the local footie team has won a game
I mean, that feels pretty good to be honest
Things were bad so they voted to hang themselves.
