I know that a lot of British animators work in America but outside of Aardman and like Peppa Pig or something what does Britain currently have in the field of animation?

Depends what you mean by animation. London has a bunhc of extremely large VFX studios, but I can't think of any modern cartoon-type stuff.

Japan makes the playstations and the marios and all that shit. Fuck a UK they haven't produced good media since who the fuck even remembers.

The UK climaxed a long time ago,they are a shadow of their former selves,same applies for other ex-colonialist european countries.Japan climaxed in relative power in the 90s,when they almost overthrew the USA in GDP terms.

The UK is set to have a bigger population by 2050 or something(if japanese population decrease trends continue and the uk immigration stays the same) and in economic terms too.
But japan will still be japan while the UK will become just a mini United States
