One could not escape the constant references to the EU being some sort of Nazi like occupation of the continent that was enslaving us and by freely voting in free election for parties openly wanting to leave the EU with full protected political speech in a liberal democracy they, the ageing boomers were sort of like their fathers were as young men engaged in battle with the fascist forces .
This is how the boomer mind thinks and what the boomer heart desires but sorry boomers. You're not heroes, you're not engaging in epic tank battles in the desert, you're not bravely embarking on an up mountain battle in Italy nor are you storming the beaches of Normandy.
