For a second there I thought I'd see a Turkish flag

Just wanted to set things straight after seeing all that commieblock spamming.

Also, house threads are comfy, so this is a house thread.

Those yards are too long for those kind of houses. Looks kinda weird. Could fit another row of houses then a yard between them.

in America, Mexicans would live in those houses

why do i always see advertisements for pick-up trucks whenever i watch nhl hockey? why are they so popular? do you not have vehicle taxation based on emissions and/or is gasoline cheap?

my suburb

Straight from the movies

old wooden cucksheds are common everywhere and they're usually pretty cheap

Attached: tie2.png (1783x767, 2.79M)

>do you not have vehicle taxation based on emissions and/or is gasoline cheap?
both for alberta
fuel currently is about 88c for a litre in most of the province, it gets more spendy once you're somewhere like bc or quebec which is why they generally like smaller and more efficient cars
also alberta is flat and massive with relatively low population density so we've got lots of space on the road for big trucks, there's also this sorta blue collar appeal of a pickup truck because of how important farming and now oil is to alberta

at least u have walkways unlike most american suburbs i've seen

What's the point of living in a house if it's in middle of tons of other houses? That's literally same as a commieblock.

This is the most typical houses in Norway, both in style and size. You see here the average modern boxes, and average traditional houses in one picture. Pretty much anywhere in the country. Of course, if you are a couple with a bit more than average you can easily have three-story houses instead. Unless you live relatively central in Oslo; big three story houses there are for upper-middle class.

Attached: tie3.png (1809x827, 2.7M)

I guess the point is to have more than just a flat? You want more space epecially if you have kids. And having a yard is always nice. Isn't that the point? More space? What do you think is the point?

Attached: _86197827_housing-blog.jpg (660x371, 66K)

Looks like a comfy street.

thats literally half the price of fuel in finland, diesel is usually a bit cheaper but there's a special tax on diesel powered cars to compensate for that

i only really watch montreal games yet there's advertisements for those trucks everywhere, which to me has always felt kind of wierd because here only farmers or hunters/outgoing people ever buy those things since theyre so expensive

looks very comfy, the only thing that spoils it is the flag

this is what the average """""""""""""house"""""""""""""" looks like in this shithole, ridden crime trash 'country'

i hate this subhuman country full of dumb and brainlet people please take me out of this hell on earth run by commies still stuck in the 70's

Attached: shithole.png (1366x657, 1.78M)

Looks like our suburbs, cept our houses are bigger, and streets less compact. How do you even not crash your vehicles into each other? Fuck my claustrophobia is kicking in

Why? Flying your flag is a good thing.

At least the weather is nice.

The point is that you barely have space, and have to live near other annoying people. If you want space for kids, move to small town and there's plenty of space between buildings. Kids have woods to play in, and schools are small so they bond better.

Grove Street. Home.
Well, not really.
>How do you even not crash your vehicles into each other?
We don't drive giant trucks, that's how. I live on a street like that and there has never been a crash here in the 29 years I've lived here.

This is a normal family home with a typical gas-guzzling SUV in the middle of a suburb with no trees. It screams middle america suburbia.

Attached: avopix-249771031.jpg (1500x1480, 1.03M)

wheater is disgusting too

But you do have space. More so than a flat. Sure, you don't have 5000 square meter yards normally but you have like a 200-300 square meter house instead of a 80 square meter flat.

This is the average house here where I live.
9/10 of them are placed by the lakes just like mine in pic related. It's semi-countryside, within 8km of the city but still comfy.

Most, if not all suburbs have sidewalks

That's fair enough. For me though, living in house only makes sense if it's like in Complete peace far from people and near nature.

My parents house in small town, Burgundy

If I'm not mistaken when americans say "middle class" they don't mean average as we tend to think of here. I could be wrong. People tend to define things differently in my experience.

I do not like murrican flag, it reminds me of AIPAC every time I see it

I've been arguing with ikibey for 3 weeks

very cool windows

Ok, so it's not the idea of flying the flag you react to

He has a thread up now, but nobody even bothered to reply in it.

Attached: katu.png (1616x956, 3.15M)

unless it's a national holiday flying a national flag is cringe, and even then it should be on a proper flag pole instead of being attached to the house

What is the third knob on the stove for?

Norwegians tend to feel different, we fly the flag any day of the year, more commonly a pennant. Pic related, me flying mine.

what is the point in shitposting like this?

everyone knows those aren't average british homes, but instead are our ghettos

Attached: helvetin rumaa hervantaa 10.jpg (1290x591, 176K)

NEETs, failures and students like to live in these*

That's a big house, how many bathrooms?

houses like this are typical in villages, which is what most of england is (despite what city boys will tell you)

Attached: beautiful-english-house-climbing-roses-village-yorkshire-england-64458755.jpg (1300x957, 236K)

at least in finland if u have flag pole on your property it's mandatory to raise the national flag on official flag days (there are 6 in a year + every election day & when the president swears in) however nobody gives a fuck if you don't, or at least i've never heard anyone given a fine for it

everyone does have the right to raise the flag whenever they feel like it's suitable though, so basically weddings and other festivities

So you are not the person who posted that picture or lives in that appartment?

Are they always built like this too, it looks like it's 200 years old.

houses like this are found in market towns and suburbs on the outskirts of cities

this is in fact the most common house in britain

Attached: image-0-480x320.jpg (480x320, 35K)

yes, we didn't really start building new houses until after the 1960s

Who live in those townhouses I see in movies?

Attached: f1632da1206921f9780062f28ed20ff4--london-townhouse-london-house.jpg (500x750, 99K)

Some rich ass nigga

houses like this are common in cities and some towns, but aren't where most brits live

london aside, most town houses are converted into flats and tend to be where young people live before they save up enough to move in to their own house (usually in a town or village)

Attached: supersize.jpg (610x458, 105K)

where did you see those? ive never seen a suburb without sidewalks kek

Nope, it's some ylilauta pekka's appartment. But that's pretty typical place to live for many.

Imagine living in a big fucking townhouse just a few minutes walking from big ben or whatever.

Attached: townhouse-cutout.jpg (712x553, 72K)

houses like this are quickly becoming the most common and are likely to be where the average brit lives

you will find them everywhere; towns, villages, cities

i currently live in a georgian townhouse in a big city, it's pretty cosy and convenient but i can't walk to big ben because it's not london!
