and how many americans?

Almost nobody lives in the area pictured. Those are offices and parking lots mostly.

Why are they ok with having no downtown?

>flag calling anyone subhuman

houston has 5 million people, almost the same as your country.

It's actually 5 million, if you take urban area and not just admin borders.

It doesn't look like it. Why are americans so against downtowns?
What if you want to go to a bars when you have to drive there? Take a taxi every time

because downtowns in america are filled with blacks and drug addicts. i think americans spend their freetime in shopping malls

we have a dedicated driver

That's so weird since europe it's the opposite. Downtowns are the most expensive areas to live

No we go camping or some other outdoor activity more than anything, unless you're a w*men

yeah, only in cities like boston and new york is it true too.

so everyone who isn't a redneck is a woman? seriously answer me and the finns question, where do you shop?

I would never move to an area where stuff isn't within a walking distance. I didn't know such luxury before moving to Helsinki, now I can't live without it

soulless

My aunt lives in Houston, she says sometimes the downtown is completely empty! Looks very souless 2bh.

Actually 5 million. You have to count the metro population

I meant considering the downtown area.

They like to spread their shit.

My city's population is 300,000 but we also have a metro population of 2 million

Overrated and expensive, plus you tend to find too many hipsters and the like. I don't mind visiting the downtown areas of our cities, but I would never live there.
