>American education
American education
>underline on the “not”
Used to hate when teachers did this
what were correct answers in these questions?
WOW. But our country won't even have that kind of problem.
That test is in a commonwealth cuck shithole.
what kind of schools have literal retard teachers like these?
This makes sense tho
WTF
black ones
The wording on this question should be more like
>change the additives of the sum 13 to where one of them is 10
As it stands, any young child would be confused by that question
is this actually what americans get taught
It is a commonwealth cuck country.
Faked. No kid uses hyphens. No kid would refer to them as "object A" and "object B". Nice manufactured outrage.
it literally says common core in the picture dumbass
>You will learn to spew the answer I deem fit
This is 1984 shit tier.
>No kid would refer to them as "object A" and "object B".
They would if that's what they're literally called in the question.
Unironically, yes. Thank god I got out of the education system before it went full retard
Deffo fake, as one of the leaf flags said, kids don't write hyphens.
Common core is not only in the US, you literal nigger.
>8+5=10
>this makes sense
i did
I refuse to believe this is real.
Tell me why they have Ivy league universities again?
this happens for "meme tier wrong orders" by retarded teacher's decision in Japan too
This does make sense though. I do this when doing arithmetic with larger numbers. Break them into easier to work with numbers and then add on the remainder.
terrible fucking wording
as expected from a country that looks to America for everything instead of Europe.
oh yeah, like which countries?
It doesn't say 8+5=5
>Norwegian reading comprehension
what the FUCK
8+5=10*
It says to use the two numbers to find a way to equal 10.
I mean, they want him to like learn to rearange numbers on his/her mind to make it look easier when you are making bigger opperations. Its easier to approach 5+8 as 10+3 in pretty much all the cases.
someone post the fucking test with a Sauropod the question says it is behemot from the bible
This one confused the fuck out of me, but this pic kind of explains it. Basically, for subtraction in Common Core, they teach students to start by counting up from the subtracted number.
So, in the case of the question 427-316, the student would start at 316, add 4 to get 320, then add 80 to get 400, then add 27 to get 427, then add 4+80+27 to get the final answer (111).
that doesn't mean the sum is interchangeable with the parts you fucking moron god fucking christ dammit I hope you never procreate you nigger-tier autismo
>kids don't write hyphens.
kids books tend to be full of hyphens that make longer words easier to read
The dad was the retard in this one though.
>common core multiplication is literally the exact same way I multiply large numbers in my head
Wtf I love common core now
the teacher is right though, it isnt stated whether they can fly or if either is living
dumbass kid
two numbers that don't equal ten can never equal ten
>or if either is living
you got owned, dumbass
When the question says "make 10" it means as an intermediate step, basically, to change 8+5 into 10+3, then solve.
for?
instead of going 86+4+10+100+34 why don't they just go 234-100+14?
care to check line inside parenthesis? only stating "Do not compare size, shape and colour" and answers kid filled in follows the situation.
im kinda sure everyone uses the multiplication and addition ones when they are making mental operations.
They are both on paper
Only one has a beak
etc
>They are both on paper
wew
>They are both on paper
might as well say "they both ARE"
yeah but an intermediate step is by definition not a solution. it's just retarded.
still more true than the kid's responses
Unironically kill yourself
This whole thread:
Yes, Obama put this in place
>american education
jesus christ
looks like any old retard can get an electronics engineering degree
but it's F- tier answer, like you give up test.
it is true though, not all planes or birds can fly and not all are living either
>What is the internment of Japanese-Americans
That’s literally the southern reformation. After the civil war yanks would go around raping people and robbing nigs with impunity while they “reformed” the south
a correct answer is better than an incorrect one
This shit makes me so fucking angry. I wan't to believe this shit is fake but I've had experience with brain dead teachers who are absolute window-lickers who would do shit like this. Fuck public education.
>wan't
+1 respect for americans, fuck the south
What military camps during the civil war?
both are designed to fly, except if the bird in question is a pinguin or an ostritch, which it is not in this case.
unless it is specified that they are broken/injured/lacking fuel or energy, you would assume that they can fly.
if you still need to have it spelled out then you're definely on the spectrum
Please fuck off and die, you autist.
>dixiefag still butthurt
It's a drawing how could it be alive. Retard kid
designed vs can
It is phrased in a simply retarded way if this was their intention
on the spectrum
Where does it say this is not a drawing of a stuffed bird or a model aircraft. Dumb Nord making absurd assumptions
Based autist.
This dumb kid should be held back a grade
Okay now it's too obvious, no more (You)s after this one.
>The Native Americans were "foreign nations" so it was OK to oppress them
I used to work in a gas station, and this is basically how we counted change. We started with the customer's total, and counted upwards until we got to the amount that they gave us. It's actually a really good method for counting change, because it's so fast.
That said, I do understand that it's not a good way when you're first learning basic addition and subtraction. It's better to learn the simple way first, and then develop your own techniques to speed it up.
Is that pic true?
the way I always do it was to break down the subtractor, eg. for 320-229 I just do
>320-200 = 120
>120-20=100
>100-9=91
and the opposite way for adding.
>colour
This is from the UK.
Could be Canadian or Kangaroo-fucker.
>that green question mark
based teacher
Almost every anglophone country in the world uses British English.
They're all on speed, that's how they go along with the stuff.
