we have 2 weeks of daily 45 minute classes, then a written exam and first aid exam. Failing means you have to pay to retake it and cannot progress further.
When you pass there's 30 hours of mandatory driving practice, after which you are eligible to take the road test.
If you fail you have to pay to retake it and do 5 more practice hours.

Oh we have our own practice hours too, since you’re required to own your own car before you can legally drive in the first place. Basically the drivers license goes like this
>Written test, if you fail more than one question the test is immediately over and you have to pay for it again to take it
>Learner’s permit, have to drive around for 2 months at least with a “responsible driver” in the other front seat
>Physical tests, consists of 15 minutes of driving instructor telling you to go to the middle of nowhere and having you drive back without a GPS or physical map, taking over an hour means you failed
>Parallel parking, you have only 3 tries and if you fail you have to take the physical tests again
>Congrats, if you passed everything before this point you now have a driver’s license

Yeah because manual is definitely the way of the future.
I drive manual but am not some brain-addled leaf who thinks old=good. Autos are more efficient, and anyway, we’ll all be reduced to having to use self-drivers in the near future. Manual is fun but for the world at large which is constantly killing itself with car accidents, it makes no sense.

in fact they have so much automatic transmission they might as well be better drivers especially the young ones

2.Driving is mandatory so even people that are shit at driving have to do it.
3.Cars don't have mandatory check ups, only emission tests.

electric car owners are retarded. i wager i have to tell about 50% of them on how to do basic things like putting it into neutral. it even tells you right on the dash how to do it.

the people who complain about electric cars tend to be exactly the kind of person the electric cars are good for. they want a nice car with all the fixings that other cars are missing, but dont actually use any of them and only drive to the grocery store.

instead they get some manual shitbox, put twice the cars value in rims on it and end up with something that, with time and effort almost costs them as much as a telsa and was used to do the same thing: get milk.

The real reason is it would be considered racist to make getting a license as hard as in western Europe, since niggers wouldn't be able to afford it. They would all starve and die because their 5 year old Iphones would run out of battery before getting out of the suburbs, now unable to use GPS they would be lost in the suburbs, never reaching their target (McDonalds) or get home again.
