US not #1
retarded meme list
DON'T WASTE MY TIME WITH THIS CRAP!!!

This list is bullshit.
As if mutts have any cultural influence in the first place

What is this chart based on? What makes one country have more influence over the other?

Attached: af2.png (741x568, 29K)

Hollywood, Silicon Valley? You are using an American website right at this moment. Are you retarded?

must be throughout history

Honestly Singapore shouldn't be ranked 15
I dare anyone on this board to give 1 (one) singapori cultural export
I fucking dare you

>8
based

>30 India
>34 Egypt

stupid af

>equally weighted average of scores from seven country attributes that relate to a country's cultural influence: culturally significant in terms of entertainment, fashionable, happy, has an influential culture, modern, prestigious and trendy.

idk what Croatian cultural influence's supposed to signify

Klape music and the awareness that there exists an equestrian event called Sinjska alka?

Was Austarlian culture measured in pure shitposting?

How is the US not first?
How is the UK not second?

FAKE NEWS!

>India and China
>combined represent like 30% of earth's population
>#19 and 30 out of 200
kek

That being said I doubt this list sufficiently values the spread of Buddhism, Taoism, and Hinduism throughout Asia.

Have we forgotten who controls the media

What is the cultural influence of Brazil (#7), Switzerland (#9) or Canada (#12)?

Actual List

1. US
2. UK
3. France
4. Germany
5. Japan

I cannot believe someone came up with such a bullshit retarded list

>Brazil, Australia, Switzerland, Sweden higher than Germany

>Fucking Singapore and UAE higher than Russia

>19. China

>30. India

Get the fuck outta here, it couldn't be more random

how the fuck is poo peeland 18
i demand to know the methodology for this list

Name a German cultural export

You use many products that are made in China. Is China culturally influential?

Germans?

You don't get it. The whole "normie" internet is based on silicone valley morals and culture.

+ ever heard of californication?

Well obviously New Zealand should be ahead of China then.

>You use many products that are made in China. Is China culturally influential?
Made in china designed in the USA. Also modern day China has been westernised, the west hasn't really been sinoised.

Yeah, it's a crap song.

>Name a German cultural export
Schnappi das kleine Krokodil

>Pizza and pasta has higher cultural value than Hollywood movies

Pathetic.

Kommissar Rex

Even the piece of shit has higher cultural value than Hollywood movies

Pretty sure it must be cultural influence on the USA.
New Zealand by speaking English has a heads up there.
Also Lord of the Rings, Mel Gibson, Lorde, Flight of the Conchords, Mega, the fat kid off of Deadpool, Thor: Ragnorak, etc.

then everybody would be absolutely raped by france and engand

Aldi?

by what logic sweden is more influential than germany? Being assufucked by muslim niggers?

because a german identity didn't exist until like 150 years ago

>forgetting about Rome, and the Renaissance.
Italy is definitely first. Maybe second, after Greece

>Aldi
the store, opened since January 30 in Leipzig, was overwhelmed with customers, say the German media. Last Monday, however, the store kept the door closed. “Given the huge demand, our subsidiary will remain closed. We reacted quickly, but had to find that our suppliers needed more time to supply us, “the retailer said at the entrance to the store. Wednesday the store should reopen.

Mere is a low cost brand owned by the Russian discounter Torgservis, which also operates stores in Russia, Romania, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and China.

How is New Zealand so high on that list? Is this list based on soft power?

what is being ranked here? the list doesn't make sense... what cultural influence does italy have today except pizza an pasta lmao
arguably US, Russia, China should be at the top

surprised to see us that far up

crime
death
famine
poverty
malice
pestilence

>Is this list based on soft power?
"Cultural influence"
Also the list is wrong.

Carlsson!

ARE YOU PROUD OF YOUR CHILDREN NOW SPEN

What is this?
What cultural impact did Italy have on the world? Why is Germany behind Switzerland?
What are the factors for this ranking?

I don't believe this. Look at Qatar, they're 35th. Or fucking Luxemburg at 27th.

Weak bait.

Vroom vroom

It's not like it won't work at all, but Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, Edeka etc are simply too strong. They may feel threatened enough to lower their prices a bit, which would be nice.

youtu.be/TZTjr-DN9xY

I would really like to know how this list was elaborated.
Which indicators were used?

So how are those sanctions going in Russia? Are they still a thing?

Feminazism is fashionable in whole Europe

Italy has the fucking Vatican. The cultural influence of the catholic church alone (schools, high schools, universities, parishes, congregations and so on)trumps almost anything in terms of cultural impact

>Russia
>China
Neither of these produce cultural content of note on a global scale

We replaced all the western shit with our own products.

Never seen this version. Seems more abstract than ours.

that's an american export

>Croatia #33
what the fuck, how are we influential lmao

Progressive capital of the world (not even kidding),Ikea and Abba. Tbh German culture is not that influential outside of central Europe

This is very popular in exUSSR. All the average people know about Sweden is Carlsson, Poltava and that's it.

>Why is Germany behind Switzerland?
Swiss Guards, Clocks, Army Knives, Swiss Chocolate, Democracy, Neutrality, Banks, Geneva, Federer.

Alarm fur Cobra 11

>Italy, France and Spain top three

fucking what? By what retarded metric. Historically UK culture, philosophy and politics has dominated the west and ever since 1945 the US has been an unparralelled cultural powerhouse.

Nobody listens to Spanish, Italian or French music, nobody watches their films, nobody listens to their media, meanwhile the USA pretty much owns the entire english language film, music, news and media industry

this ranking is fucking retarded and i want an explanation

>muh hollywood
mass produced tripe engineered for maximum consumption is not "culture"

Ask your British fans which Holmes is the best ever.

Attached: images (1).jpg (264x191, 8K)

I was going to jokingly say that Brazil should be on the list and then I noticed we are ranked at 7. What in the fuck.

>t. "the world has only existed since i was born!!!"

the Vatican has the fucking Vatican, if we're counting the catholic church s a cultural export then it should be under the Vatican not Italy

also Saudi Arabia should be higher because of Mecca

>culturally significant in terms of entertainment, fashionable, happy, has an influential culture, modern, prestigious and trendy.
basically hocus pocus

did you not read my post? Did I not acknowledge that the UK pretty much owned the world pre ww2?

Kill yourself you retarded spaniard

this is stupid desu

>Japan
>6th
But anime isn't culture

The best anime is Russian anyway.

Attached: 5287298719_3023355f49.jpg (500x333, 161K)

>t. "the world has only existed during the XIX and XX centuries"
ok

>But anime isn't culture
What is it then?

Also Japan has a lot more going for than just anime. Iron chef for example. Godzilla for another.

with a very western bias, it's difficult to argue with the top 5

probably looks very different if you asked people in asia though

no I meant this unironically, cultural difference between your casual saxon and bavarian are clearly visible today, ofc it's not much but imagine how it was 200 years ago. When german refugees arrived here in lower saxony after the wars people here considered them to be "rüderge utlanners" (räudige Ausländer einfach auf Platt)

>Vatican not Italy
Come on. The Pope needs to learn italian, the vatican is inside Rome,98% of elected Popes have been Italian and most fathers and doctors of the church are and were Italian

Interesting. Russia sadly doesn't have that good of an image here thanks to relations post cold war.
Younger generations like Russia though as you may know trough Anomaly.
youtube.com/watch?v=AvVWYj-FMOo

In Yrop you are feminazi pioneers, though

All that is dying down, though.

I didn't know about these markets. Seems there isn't one in Bucharest but one opened recently in Brasov. Can I find that sort of smoked string cheese? Last time I had some was in Moldova.

Actually Carlsson by Lindgren is negative character, but Russian Carlsson is bad but lovely.

Vatican is an independent state. The catholic church is not an italian church.

Really? Now i'm sad. We were very East Germany influenced during that time.

Attached: apu sad.png (480x360, 230K)

What's sad about it?
In fact most of Soviet versions of Western classics are very original and deep. Like that Carlsson or famous Winnie the Pooh youtu.be/73uIn56G1YE

I see you had pippi as well
youtube.com/watch?v=ySRho1Mo7rQ

Yes, but it were never even close in popularity to Carlsson.

Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö books were very popular in USSR.

We speak about the current time or in all history ?

I guess the index makers don't know themselves.

you're wrong

I think it has to be the influence of current time
Brazil, Australia and Switzerland in top 10 ?
While India, Germany, Greece or China are that low ?

Not too familiar with books

>Neither of these produce cultural content of note on a global scale
Russia definately does. Just from the top of my head:
1. "Masha and the Bear" is by a long shot the most popular animated series for children in the world.
2. St. Petersburg remains to be a world's capital of ballet
3. Our mainstream music scene is a lot more influencial than most of the countries from top-10 of OP's list, only USA, UK and Germany(?) tops us in that regard

scat
