Wat is the worst wagie job you ever had?

i'll start: worked 1 day at mcdonalds as a teenager and quit.

Supervisor for a nonprofit thrift store. Paid 50 cents over minimum wage

I worked as a stable hand...literally shovelled shit all summer

Plumber for the shadiest person outside of prison

23 and too many to count but probably delivering shingles to roofs. I had to pick up and move hundreds of 70+ pounds packs of shingles a day. I see why the didn't even try to negotiate when i said 20/hr but i quit after a week kek

>being a manager in retail
You would have to pay me at least 30-35 dollars an hour to be a manager in retail I don't do it but the people who do seem like they are sociopathic or once they had a soul and now it's gone

Fucking zoomers

2 days of telemarketing. I made like 3 sales out of hundreds of calls. Just couldn't deal with hassling people with unwanted calls. The people there were total scumbags.

After I dropped from university I got job at logistic warehouse as quality/quantity control.
All I did was check for mistakes made by other people during realization of orders for our clients (supermarkets)
They paid me 600usd/month for working doing it full time since I'm living in outsourcing shithole of europe (Poland).
After like 7 months and threatening to leave they decided to offer me position as some supervisor over the pallet wrapping department.
And guess what all they could do was 750usd, whats even worse living is so fucking expensive that even living with parrents and
having economical shitbox i still had to spend 300usd/month just to keep alive without any entertainment expenses.
I would rather fucking kill myself than work my ass of for such shitty wage.

1 day? tell me about it user

keke pussy dont worry a real man replaced you

>dropped from uni
>work for 300 profit/month
maybe the universe is telling you to find something better

The top dog of the store, the store manager worked about 50 hours/week + on-call and travel. She definitely had a hinge loose and I'm not surprised at all. Even though she had subordinate managers like me she HAD to be at the store. So she'd sit in the tiny office for 10 hours a day, even on holidays at times. And she was salaried.

did a training day at a door to door sales place/"direct marketing". overslept the next day and didn't go back. was all part of a culty pyramid scheme anyway

research assistant, counting fucking dots for some guy's PHD in a dark room for 5-8 hours a day. picked up smoking

It would have to be between ace hardware and Starbucks. I tried doing both at once but ended up quitting ace because Starbucks had slightly better pay. Ace was just boring beyond belief, standing at a register in a slow store was shitty. Only time I ever worked cashier and it is also the last.

Starbucks was just fucking terrible, you gotta learn how to make all the gay ass drinks, you have to get to the point where you line them up and simultaneously make 2 drinks at one time, and sometimes you have to clean in between or take orders. That was legitimately the toughest job I ever did, and that place gets absolutely slammed. And you see the same faggots every day, i shit you not it is appalling how much people spend at that fucking place. It is really a womans job, only women and the occasional guy have the capacity for it. Because there is so much multitasking involved and men aren't built for that shit.

Oh also fucking this sales job where I sold DIRECT TV packages. That shit was actually even worse. All you do is stand at the booths in Walmart and other big stores and approach people trying to get them to switch to direct TV and Att as well. I took it because it came to me and tried for a few weeks as a challenge. That's how I found out sales isn't for me. You sort of have to be a disingenuous asshole for that job. My boss was a fucking ultra Chad who played college football and was considering going pro. always walked out of there feeling like an actual gnome kek

>dropped from uni
hue hue very funny
>find something better
It is literally best you can do without degree or 20year experience.
McDonalds pays like 470usd and you don't even get free food
Inb4 get a degree in smth as junior programmer with IT degree and like 2year experience you will be lucky to get 800usd
It is such shithole for young ambitious people that we wish it was part of Germany

I'd rather work at a slow store than a hectic one with cheapskates and shoplifters. I imagine the customer base at a hardware store is mostly boomers getting stuff for home repairs, or was it different?

The one that I have right now. I am a maintenance worker at a Mcdonalds, I was promoted from a crew member. It's a fucking $.50 raise and twice the responsibility. Luckily i have a relative who might get me a position at the state asylum, they start out at $22/hr and all i gotta do is babysit deformed and retarded people. I also live with my mom and I contribute literally nothing so i'll have 100k before im 25 easily (im 18 and i plan to move before 25). From there I can dump the 100k in a mutual fund and easy 1 million by the time i retire.

I worked at Abercrombie once

>getting paid $20/hr to work out
>thinking this is a shitty job
you're a retard

Why don't you get certification or something you dunce

The pay raise isn't enough to justify the workload

certification for something so you dont have to work at mcdonalds like a nigger

True but at Starbucks I got weekly tips which were actually decent on top of the already better pay. It had some benefits. And yeah pretty much, boomers everywhere. I liked the bigger hardware stores better because being a leader was actually good work and I had a huge store to walk around in, retail is shit though. Hope I never am forced to go back

Worked at a late night pizza place on Austin's 6th street on the weekends in college. I saw people degrade themselves to the level of animals basically every weekend, plus the constant maintenance from their drunk disregard of the place - bathrooms trashed, toilets broken, vomiting over the counter onto the pizza, etc. Plus it was oprn until 4am so I didnt get to go home until 5.

oh the upside was that rich arab tourists would tip like 100 bucks at a time, which we were supposed to put into the communal tio jar but I just pocketed

Im going to get a comfy $22/hr job already, there's no need for school man

I did 5 days at MCdonalds until I recognized the strange till icons weren’t going to be easy to learn even with time.

This is an understatement. You should of seen them.

>first job
>minimum wage cuck carvel job
>they tell me on phone my week schedule
>oh bring $50 for your uniforms that we will give you when you show up

Never showed up. Jokes on them. I now make 95k and have a plan to be somewhat well off in the next 5 years

Chuck E. Cheese, would constantly walk around the room "testing" all the games. Cleaned up kid vomit too many times.

i did temp service jobs for the past 3 years

warehouse jobs are boring

from ROSS. which was picking up boxes all DAY

to a juice storage which was cold graveyard shift.

pepsi company. which was HEAVY LABOR sweating like a dog in summer.

IKEA distribuition center.- VERY. CHILL, 14 dollars per hour. great break rooms and nice place. but they have to like you to get hired on full time, they are deep into IKEA values and shit.

what i learned is that every place is the same, even me

currently im a prep cook and can now chop veggies like a boss.

Probably a fast food cook at a small but very high volume tourist town. Ive always fucking hated tourists and hate them even more now

Concrete construction labourer. Digging holes and slinging huge chunks of busted up concrete in 36C or 109F for 9-10 hours a day
